(Y/N) POV
'That was the most awkward thing that I've ever experienced.' I thought. I was fine with Yang, but Weiss? Why didn't I just remember clothes? That could've been avoided. I had my hands on the sink, while I looked at myself in the mirror, deep in thought. However, my thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.
"You can come in." I said. The door slowly opened as Yang walked in. She shut the door behind her before she started to speak.
"That was...interesting." She said. "Weiss went on a walk. Do you want to talk about anything while she's gone?"
"Yes, actually. So, it's only six days until Christmas, and I need your help with something." I paused, and lowered my voice. "Okay, so you know how I've been leaving at random times?" She nodded. "Well, the reason for that, is because I've been working on a project. You see, I'm making a necklace for Weiss, as her Christmas present. But, I won't be able to finish it without some certain materials, and I need to catch up on all of the work I've missed, so I can't go to Vale and get them. Can you get these things for me, and drop them off in Ozpin's office?" I asked, handing her the list of items.
"Sure thing. I'll go now, and give you some peace and quiet, so you can work. I'll take Ruby with me too, but I won't tell her what it's for. I can probably distract her with some cookies."
"Thank you so much. You're a lifesaver." I said, hugging her.
"No problem. Now, you can get your stuff ready, and I'll wake up Ruby. Coolio?"
"Hey, that's my phrase!" I said jokingly. We walked out, and did our own tasks.
(A little while later....)
"Bye guys! Have a good time!" I told them. They waved, and wished me luck on my studies. As I worked away, and came across a few problems that I didn't quite understand. I did the rest of the work, but still didn't know what they were. I stared at them for a while, and sighed while putting my head on the desk. Suddenly, I heard the door open and footsteps inside of the room.
"I'm back Ya-" She stopped when she saw me. I turned my head that was still on the desk, and looked at her. Neither of us said a word. I decided to be the one to break the silence, lifting my head up off of the desk.
"Yang and Ruby went to Vale to pick up a few things for me."
"Why didn't you go get it yourself?" She looked at me with an eyebrow raised and crossed arms. I sighed, and put my hand on my face.
"If you must know, I couldn't do it myself because I have to finish the work I missed in class."
"Well, you shouldn't have gone on your random trips to wherever you go. Maybe then you could do other things."
"I know, but it's important to me, so I decided that I'd rather miss class than not do it." I looked at the papers that were strung across the surface, and sighed again. "I hate to ask, but could you......" I stopped, thinking about the possible outcomes that could follow this question.
"Could I what?"
"There are a few problems that I don't understand. Could you please help me with them?" It was out there. I thought I was gonna die.
"Sure."
"What?" I said, surprised.
"I said sure, I'll help you." She repeated, pulling another chair up to the desk. "Is there something wrong with that?" My mouth felt dry. I was sure that she would say no, and give me a good slap to the face.
