Hello again! (Important A/N)

Helloooooo wonderful peeps! I know it's been a while, but this is something important involving this story. I've been thinking about something for a while, and I'm finally taking the step to do what I should have done a while ago.

Looking back on this story after some years has been great. The fact that people continue to read it, vote, and sometimes even follow just...blows my mind. I mean, we're nearly at 100k reads! Holy shit! But, there's something that needs to be changed in order for me to truly be proud of it.

As you know, there are some intense scenes in this. The specific ones I'm referring to are the r*pe scenes. For a while I didn't see anything wrong with it. It's all for the art of storytelling and painting a clear picture of the hardships the reader faced, so it's fine...right? There's the problem. It isn't ok to just write about something so horrid in such graphic detail, even with trigger warnings.

So, this authors note is being posted to let you know 3 things.

1. While I will leave the mentioning of the acts in the story, the graphic scenes that go into way too much into detail will be revised to be more vague and implicative, and some less graphic but still awful things (for other reasons) will be taken out completely. That way, you can still understand the situation and how horrible it is, without it being shoved in your face. I'm hoping that this also gives it more of an "up to interpretation" vibe. You can assume the worst, or you can assume that it's something minor.

Small edit: Reading back through it now, I'm going to completely take out any r*pe. It's just horrible and way too far for a fanfic.

2. While I'm at it, I will be editing any other chapters with spelling/grammatical errors. If you see that a chapter has been updated, that will be why. If you see that I've edited a chapter, but there's still an error, please let me know. Either tag me in a comment or dm me about it so I can make this story better :3.

3. I know I've said this a lot in the past few years, but I'm going to attempt to write again. It won't be speedy updates, but maybe every once in a while when I get an idea and I'm able to finish it, I'll post it. And to some of those who requested fics, I still have your requests! And if I'm able to get some ideas flowing, I will absolutely write them. I think my problem with doing requests is/was that all of my stories were based on self-insert daydreams at the time. If I can't imagine a situation with the character, it's really difficult to come up with an idea for a fanfic (hence why my most intricate and popular story is about Weiss. Weiss is best gorl :3). So, I can't promise much, honestly. But seeing the continued support is so amazing, and I want to reward you awesome people. All I can say is that I will try, and I can only hope that you accept that. Regardless of what happens, thank you guys so much. I'm so glad that people enjoy my writing, even though it's probably garbo. If I'm able to write anything, I hope you will continue your lovely support. <3
