Ozpin POV

As I walked into the building, I got a bad feeling. I quickly shuffled to the elevator that led to my office, and pushed the button to go up. Nausea kept building in my stomach with each floor that passed by. Staring at the doors, I wondered to myself about what would be producing this terrible vibe. After what felt like hours, the doors finally opened, revealing something that I never wanted to see. (Y/N) was pinned against my desk my a man about my height that looked like David, the man that abused her when she was younger, while he cycled between punching, kicking, and yelling at her. She was crying, and seemed to be trying to scream, but one of his hands covered her mouth. Her arms were instinctively up in defense. I quietly moved toward him, since he didn't seem to notice me. Once I got close enough, I grabbed him by the shoulders, turned him around, and gave him a strong right hook to the left side of his face.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY DAUGHTER!" I screamed, as he stood there, shocked from the sneak attack. I gave him a good beat down, until he fell unconscious, and blood was everywhere. I moved my hand to his neck to check his pulse, pushing down just quick enough to feel his heart stop. It was a morbid seen, but the bastard deserved it. Standing up, I looked back at (Y/N) and saw her still bawling, while sitting on the floor. I ran over to her and hugged her gently. Luckily her wounds weren't too bad, but they will be rough until they heal. "I'm sorry that you had to go through that. I should have been here anyway. I'm so sorry..." I felt her tears soak through my shirt, and even felt one of my own run down my cheek.

"N-No. Thank y-you for s-saving me." She sobbed, as I rocked back and forth to comfort her.. "I love you, Dad." I stopped rocking. 'Did she just call me....Dad?' "S-Sorry I shouldn't have called you tha-"

"No." I interrupted. "It's fine. I would actually prefer it...I love you too, sweetie." I whispered. She sniffled a few times, finally calming down a bit.

"Really? You're okay with it?"

"Of course. You're my daughter, after all." More tears ran down her face, but this time she had a faint smile. I smiled back and kissed her forehead.

"Dad?"

"Mm?" I hummed. She looked at me questioningly.

"Where did you go anyway?" She asked. I smiled at the thought of what I was about to tell her.

"Well, I went to talk to Mr. Schnee about you dating Wei-" As soon as I started to say her name, I was interrupted by the sound of the elevator reaching our level, and opening.

"Hey, Professor Ozpin. Where's......oh, what happened?" She gasped at the sight of David in a pool of blood, my bloodied hands and clothes, and (Y/N)'s tear-stained face.

"Uh...long story that I'll tell you later." (Y/N)'s voice wavered as the scene replayed in her head. "Now what were you going to say?" She asked, looking at me.

"Oh, yes. I went to see Mr. Schnee about the relationship between you two, and asked him why he made you break up." The white-haired one's eyes widened, and gazed into (Y/N)'s (e/c) ones.

"So that's why you did it?" She asked. The faunus nodded sadly with a frown, and flattened ears. "I knew you wouldn't just randomly do that. Thank gods. But, what did father say?" Her tone switched from relieved to angry.

"I explained to him the stupidity of his plan and reasons for it, and then threw some logic and reasoning at him."

"And?" They both inquired in unison. I chuckled at them, and continued.

"And he approves." They smiled at me, and Weiss pulled me into a small hug. "Yes, yes, you're welcome."

"Thanks, Dad." (Y/N) said. I smiled at the word. Had a nice ring to it. As they started to walk away, she turned around one more time. "Hey, Dad?"

"Yes?"

"Can you go with me to talk to Glynda about calling her 'Mom' later?"

"Sure sweetie. Now run along you two. (Y/N), go to the infirmary to get your injuries checked out and patched up, and then later you can catch up on the stuff that's happened."

"Will do!" And with that, they walked (well, one limped) into the elevator, pushing the button. The last thing I saw, was their hands intertwining together, and smiles gracing their faces.
