Weiss POV

Ruby, Yang, Blake, and I had just gotten back from a two week mission, and I we were exhausted. I couldn't wait to see (Y/N) again. Even just thinking about holding her, having her in my arms, was making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Once we finally reached the door of our room, I eagerly opened it. I was not expecting what I saw. The entire room was fine, except for my bed. (Y/N) was sprawled out on it with the covers barely on her, while hugging my pillow as if it was a real person. I went closer.

"What is going on here..." I whispered. It was only when crouched down to her face that I saw tear stains on her cheeks. I swear I heard my heart break in my chest at the sight. "Hey, wake up." I gently squeezed her arm. She slightly stirred, but was still asleep. 'Why was she crying? Did someone hurt her? I swear, whoever it was will be in seriou-' My thoughts were interrupted by a sniffle, followed by a quiet whimper. I looked over at (Y/N) to see that her face had a distraught expression plastered on it, with more tears falling onto the sheets.

"Weiss...don't die, please. I love you..." She sobbed, hugging the pillow tighter. My eyes grew wide, starting to form tears of their own. I shook her a little harder.

"(Y/N), wake up!" I shouted, not wanting to see her in pain any longer. After a bit more yelling and shaking, she finally woke up. She swiftly shot up into a sitting position, her body visibly shaking in terror. "(Y/N), are you okay?!" I sat on the edge of the bed, looking at her with deep concern. She looked up at me, eyes wide. 

"Y-You're home!" She yelled, pulling me into a firm embrace. I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist. "You're finally home!" She cried into my shoulder.

"Yes, I'm home. It's okay now. I'm here, and you're safe." Once she finally calmed down a little, I pulled back out of the hug, but only enough to press my forehead against hers. "Now what happened?" She took a few deep breaths, and started to speak.

"I've been having terrible nightmares ever since you left. We would all be fighting, then you would get hurt and you would start to die, a-and..." She started to bawl once again, recalling the horrid memories that she gained from the night terrors.

"Shhh. It's okay, it's okay. Those weren't real. I'm right here." I consoled her once more while rocking back and forth. She looked into my blue orbs as I stared back into her (e/c) ones, and kissed her nose. "Just breathe." She took some deep breaths like before, and settled down. "Better?"

"Y-Yeah." She stuttered, then paused. "Weiss?"

"Hm?" 

"I love you. Please don't die." 

"Trust me, I won't. I love you too." I pulled her into a gentle kiss, my palms resting against her cheeks. She kissed back and placed her hands on my waist. We pulled away after what seemed like hours, and laid down once I changed into my pajamas. I yawned, now even more tired. (Y/N) smiled and snuggled into the crook of my neck, purring happily. I giggled softly at the adorable act. 

"Goodnight, Weiss." She whispered, gripping my nightgown. I pulled her closer and left small, soft kisses on her fluffy (f/c) ears. 

"Goodnight." We both fell asleep peacefully, unaware that the other three were recording and snapping photos of it all.
