The ride in the Vertibird was relaxing, as we approached Diamond City, Shaun began getting cranky, so I took him from Nora and messed with him, calming him down. The Vertibird lands on the outskirts of town and we quickly follow the rest of the people down and around the city. Which is now about ten to fifteen meters away from the Vertibird. They lead us to a shelter similar to vault 111 but on this one, it looks like it's been long dug up, the number on it reads 112. We made our way inside and we're shortly afterwards put into our vault uniforms and escorted to our decontamination pods.

Above, we could hear the sirens for the nuclear detonations happening, within seconds, silence.

After the decontamination, a couple scientists approached Nora and myself and asked if we would like to enter stasis or try to ride out the catastrophe. I looked over at Nora and Shaun, and then stated that we would enter the stasis chambers but we weren't going separately. The scientists knodded and led us to the chambers. Nora climbed in first, situated herself, took Shaun, and I climbed in last. The men then shut the pod door, and within seconds everything went black.

Deep in stasis, time flew by, 200 year to be exact. But when the chamber malfunctioned, I began to wake. When I managed to get my bearings, I seen that somebody was missing...
Shaun. Shortly after, Nora began to wake. She then begins to flip out when she notices Shaun is missing.

"Honey, where's Shaun?... Shaun! Shaun!" Nora cried out.

I take a minute to step out of the pod and gather clues as to Shaun's disappearance. I look at the floor and where, as I noticed the time stamp of the machine, dust has collected on the floor. Years of not being kept up with, by the looks of it. I bend down, currently ignoring Nora flipping shit in the pod.

"Hun, shut up a minute, please." I say, as politely as I can.

She goes quiet, and by the feeling I'm getting, she's giving me a very dirty look. I continue to analyze the dust, which has scuff marks, almost like somebody had stood here and then turned away quickly. I grab my bag from the counter, and examine it, everything is still in it, well almost everything. My wallet is missing, but in its place, a small container, resembling a lunchbox. There's a note that reads, this is for you, on it. I open it up and there are coin rolls in it.

Not thinking anything of it, I pick one up. It's relatively lighter than a roll of quarters should be. I rotate the roll in my hand and the number 10 had been marked out and replaced with 250. I open it up and inside were... Bottle caps??

I look down at the rest of the rolls, counting, there are over fifty coin rolls packed into this lunchbox. Quickly doing the math in my head, there were 12500 bottle caps in this lunchbox.

Quickly, I snap back to what I was doing and retrieve the sawn-off shotgun from my bag. Checking over the gun, it seems time hasn't affected it at all, I then follow the dust trail, which leads out to the lobby where we came in. But instead of heading towards where the elevator was, the foot prints head off towards the right.

I follow them and shortly we come to a small terminal, the foot prints stop here before resuming again. I access the terminal, bypassing the code on it and it lists seven pods each with a name assigned to it.
