The YKSS Begins

Part 4: Girls' Day Out

  Meanwhile, Nate and Hailey are both just walking with their respective best friends to their respective classes, but then a voice came from the monitor that said, "Attention, Nathan Adams and Hailey Anne. Please report to the principal's office immediately."

  "Woah, the principal's office?" Bear expressed concern and turned to his nervous friend, "My condolences, Nate."

  Eddie nodded and advised, "Be strong, dude. I heard that Principal Windsey can smell fear."

  Nate and Hailey walked there, and Hailey nervously asked, "N-Nate, why do you think we're getting detention?"

  Usapyon looked up to Whisper and said, "Well, it's very unlikely that the principal would call either of them in her office unless they did something wrong. Hailey didn't do anything. How about Nate?" 

  Whisper replied, "Nope, Nate's perfectly innocent."

  When the two children arrived, Nate (who wasn't half as scared as Hailey) asked, "You wanted to see us, Principal Windsey?"

  "Yes, I did," Ms. Windsey responded as she came closer, showing dark skin and raven black hair up in a bun (the hair, not the skin), "You see, we have a new student with us, and I need both of you to give her a tour around the school. C'mon over, Molly."

  Molly stood up, grabbed her backpack, and walked over next to the principal. Ms. Windsey then started gently tousling Molly's hair and explained, "This is the new student. Her name is Molly Madison." 

  "Wait, Principal Windsey," Nate said, "I met Molly yesterday. She'd just moved here with her family from Austin, Texas. Isn't that right, Molly?" She just nodded.

  "Well, isn't that quite a coincidence?" Ms. Windsey reacted, "Well, I hope that all of you can be good friends," She gave Molly two pieces of paper and continued, "Molly, this is your schedule and a map of the school. Now, you remember the things that I told you about the tours?"

  Molly nodded and replied, "Stay with your guides?" and Ms. Windsey said, "Very good. Have fun!" She walked away.

  Hailey excitedly went up to Molly and squealed, "Hey, Molly! What's up?" shaping her arms into an L. Molly just silently shrugged, much to Hailey's confusion.

  Once they got into the halls, Nate and Hailey started showing Molly all around the school and telling her all that she needed to know. Once they got to Molly's homeroom (Year 5 Class 4), they wished her good luck on her first day. Her teacher's name was Ms. Willow, and she ended up making a lot of friends. She also became best friends with three of her classmates: Rosie Rodriguez (a Hispanic girl who loved romance and thought that Eddie was cute), Rachel Tuffet (an athletic and energetic girl with a crush on Nate), and Sapphie Smith (a fashionable blond girl who was named after her mother's birthstone (which is the same as her own) and wished she could be more like Crystal Starr). After school, Hailey walked over to Molly and said, "Hey, when we first met, you seemed kind of gloomy and quiet. Were you feeling homesick about Austin?" 

  Molly nodded, and Hailey continued, "Well, I think I know what'll get you more comfortable with this town: GIRL'S DAY OUT! It'll be really fun! Trust me. We'll go to the mall, hang out at the comic store, the action figure store, get some dinner at the food court, and maybe get some clothes and cute accessories. We'll have it today. What do you say?"

  Molly just uttered a quiet "Okay, but we should probably tell our moms first."

  Hailey got out her phone and prepared to call her mom, but then Wazzat inspirited her and made her forget what she was gonna do. "Wait, what were we doing again?"

  Molly opened her mouth to remind Chloe, but then Wazzat inspirited her, too. "I don't remember."

  "Girls, you need to call your moms and tell them where you're going,"  Usapyon said angrily, "if you don't, you'll get in trouble!"

  Hailey just said, "Usapyon, how am I supposed to call my mom when I don't remember how?"

  "Uh, Chloe," asked Molly, "who are you talking to?"

  Hailey replied nervously, "Uh, no one. Let's go!"

  Hailey grabbed Molly by the arm, and they got going immediately! However, neither of them didn't realize the mistake that they'd just made...
