Over the weekend, in preparation of her new school, Delilah went shopping with her mom to buy new supplies and clothing. On Monday, she walked with her mom all the way to school. When they got there, Delilah could tell from the way the other kids dressed and the look of the school itself that it was clearly a public school. Nora went to the school library, and Delilah was at the principal's office. Pretty soon, Ms. Windsey announced over the monitor, "Cameron Locke, please report to the principal's office."
Suddenly, Delilah saw a cute, young girl with long strawberry blond hair wearing a green T-shirt, blue shorts, purple bracelets, and green shoes. That was Cameron Locke?! Delilah easily found herself getting lost in Cameron's bright blue eyes... Until Principal Windsey snapped her out of it and asked, "Cameron, I was hoping that you could give Delilah a tour of the school."
"No problemo, Principal Windsey," Cameron responded.
Ms. Windsey handed them a piece of paper and said, "Here's a map around the school. It also has Delilah's schedule on the back. Now remember, Delilah-"
"I must stay with Cameron until I get to my first class?" Delilah finished Ms. Windsey's sentence.
"Exactly," Ms. Windsey answered, "have fun!"
"C'mon, Del," Cameron took her by the hand, "let's get this show on the road!"
Cameron showed Delilah the whole school until they eventually got to Room 5-1, where they'd both be. Delilah gave her new teacher, Mr. Smith, an apple and took her seat (right next to Cameron).
At the end of the school day, she accidentally bumped into a brunette girl with green eyes, a dark pink dress, and... Wait a minute. Is that Molly?!
