A few days later, the YKSS held a meeting at Delilah's house. Molly and Flurria told Delilah about seeing real kappas with Nate. Delilah's reaction was, "Kappas? What are those?"
"One of the coolest kinds of Yo-Kai ever!" Lonely Wolf exclaimed enthusiastically, "I CAN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE NOT ONE, BUT TWO!!"
"Didn't they teach you anything about kappas in Willoco Prep?" Logan asked.
"Actually," Delilah answered, "they never taught us anything about Yo-Kai. According to Principal Jenkins, they're just 'paranoia-induced fantasy nonsense.'"
"Wow," Flurria said, "sounds like Willoco Prep is rather... Straight-laced."
"It is," Delilah agreed, "Anyway, what are kappas like?"
Molly opened up her Yo-Kai Book to pages 11-22 and explained, "Kappas are harmless creatures that live in the water. They have turtle-like shells on their backs, webbed feet and hands, and plates on their heads. They need to keep these plates nice and moist at all times, or they'll lose their strength."
"Ooh, fascinating," Delilah was taking notes of this information, "Anything else?"
"Well, according to Nate," Flurria added, "kappas are traditionally green, eat cucumbers, and only swim the front stroke, but Walkappa is blue, swims all kinds of strokes, and prefers pizza and sushi."
"Wow!" Delilah responded, "I see he's quite the snowflake!"
Molly agreed, "Yeah. He's also really nice and funny."
"You've received this information from Nathan Adams, correct?" Delilah asked.
"Sure did," Molly answered, "he knows so much about Yo-Kai."
"Perhaps this knowledge could benefit the YKSS," Delilah suggested, "After all, the best way to beat the enemy is to know the enemy."
This made Logan a little bit worried...
