A few days later, Logan and Molly were walking home from school together. Logan turned to Molly and said, "Hey, Molly. I've heard some stuff about kappas in Springdale's rivers."
"Kappas?" Molly asked. She pulled out her Book on Yo-Kai and page-flipped over to pages 11-22. "Ah, here it is!"
Lonely Wolf looked at it. "What?"
Molly read it: "It says here that kappas are normally very harmless and can actually be quite friendly. However, they need to keep their plates nice and moist at all times. Otherwise, they begin to lose strength."
"Neat!" Flurria commented.
"They're also super-strong swimmers and legendary sumo wrestlers?!" Lonely Wolf read, "Man, kappas are so cool!"
"Anyway," Logan blushed and continued, "I was wondering if maybe you'd wanna... Check them out with me."
"Sure," Molly and Flurria went down to the park, and Logan asked, "Where are you going?"
"I'm gonna go ask Nate if he wants to come with us," Molly answered, "you wanna come along and get to know him? I'll bet you'd really like him!"
Logan reluctantly followed along, and Lonely Wolf cried, "Yay! We're gonna make a new friend! This is gonna be great!~"
"Yeah," Logan scoffed, "great."
