Hailey curiously looked at Molly's backpack and noticed that there was something extra in there. "Hey, Molly, what's that thing in your backpack?"
"Huh?" Molly took off her backpack, opened it, got her present out, admired it for a bit, opened that, and there was her Yo-Kai Watch U-5! "Wow, is that a watch? It's beautiful!" Hailey gushed in amazement.
"Well, yeah," Molly agreed, "but it doesn't really look like it was made for telling time."
She pressed on a little blue button, and a light blue light started to shine, much to Molly's surprise. She waved it around frantically and shouted, "Oh my gosh! How is it doing this?! Why is it doing this?! HOW DO I GET IT TO STOP DOING THIS?!?"
A little boy who was passing by looked up to his mother and asked in his cute, innocent voice, "Mommy, why is that girl so scared?"
His mother just replied, "I have no idea. For all we know, she could be crazy, Andrew," and they kept walking.
Hailey grabbed Molly, slapped her face repeatedly, and said, "Pull yourself together, woman!"
Soon after, the watch made that whirring sound that the other watches before it had always made upon finding a Yo-Kai, and Usapyon appeared right before Molly's eyes! Molly just froze in shock until she finally uttered, "I-I-I-I've officially gone completely crazy."
"Wait, she can actually see me?!" Usapyon was both surprised and confused, "That must be a Yo-Kai Watch!"
Once Molly and Usapyon had both fully recovered from the shock, they all continued to the mall and had lots of fun, but none of them knew of the mistake they'd just made...
