The YKSS Begins

Part 21: The YKSS and Venoct VS. Rubeus J

  The next day, the three walked home, finished all their homework, and headed out. On the way, though, Logan bumped into something. He rubbed it and commented, "When did they put this big, lumpy, red pole here?"

  Molly looked up and said, "Logan, th-that's no pole..." The others looked up and saw that it was indeed not a pole; it was Rubeus J's leg! The large, powerful Yo-Kai turned around and roared, "You fools dare challenge me?!"

  He tried to crush the children, but they dodged and ran away. They found a finding place, and Logan asked, "What do we do now?!"

  "We get backup," Molly answered, pulling Venoct's Medal out of her sash, "Please come forth, Venoct! Yo-Kai Medal, activate!"

  With this, Venoct was summoned to their location, and as soon as he saw Rubeus J, he immediately knew what he had to do. He and Rubeus J began fighting vigorously! Rubeus J soon called in his Red Lair and sicced his minions on not only Venoct, but the YKSS as well! With this, Delilah got in front of her friends, shouted, "Super Shield!" and surrounded them in a super-strong force field. Molly went up to Delilah and asked, "How'd you do that?!"

  "I've been reading up on plenty of new spells," Delilah answered, "I've also been practicing frequently."

  "Hey, Delilah," Flurria said, "maybe you, Lonely Wolf, and I can handle Rubeus J's lackeys while Venoct takes care of Rubeus J himself."

  "Perfect idea!" Delilah responded.

  "Are you sure we can handle them?" Lonely Wolf questioned with a trace of worry in his tone.

  "Of course! We've got mind, muscle, and magic on our side!" Flurria answered confidently. She then proceeded to grab a Dread Knight by the leg and slam him into the ordinary henchman.

  Lonely Wolf looked on in shock. "You can kick butt?!"

  Flurria nodded her head, and Lonely Wolf just blushed and uttered, "Wow."

  "Flurria's right!" Delilah declared, "we can do this! Together!"

  "Logan and I can be the nurses!" Molly suggested, "Right, Logan?"

  Logan blushed and responded, "Uh, yeah."

  With that, Lonely Wolf and Flurria scratching, biting, and burning many of the minions, while Delilah helped out with her spells. Molly and Logan gave warnings and encouragement. They also punched a few Dread Knights in the face. Eventually, Venoct shouted, "Octo Snake!" and defeated Rubeus J with his snake scarf, while Delilah declared, "Light of Love!" and finished off the final Dread Knight with a powerful beam of light, love, warmth, and happiness!

  After Rubeus J was defeated, Delilah went up to Venoct and said, "That was spectacular!"

  "You were actually willing to help us?!" Flurria questioned in disbelief, "why?!"

  "I've already had my life taken away from me by that heartless scoundrel," Venoct replied, "and I will not allow history to repeat itself."

  Molly looked into Venoct's fierce golden eyes and thought, Why does he have to be so strong and dreamy? She soon found herself swooning a bit. 

  Logan quickly noticed this and asked Delilah, "Is it weird that I've just met this guy, but I already hate him?"

  "Yes," Delilah bluntly responded, "especially since he just saved our lives."

  Venoct jumped into the air and said,"Farewell!"
