"And I was thinking that maybe we should have the after party here. What do you think?" Phoebe asked me from her place on the chair while Chris and I sat hand in hand on the couch in the living room. I sighed in frustration and looked at Phoebe.

"Phoebe I love you and everything but Chris and I want a small ceremony here in the Manor. Kind of like Paige and Henry's wedding" I replied and she frowned at me. My response was just to shrug. I was telling the truth because Chris and I had both agreed that we just wanted family and close friends. I didn't like the idea of going all out in a church ceremony. I was totally unlike Phoebe in that way, but I think she believes that every girl's dream is to have a huge wedding. Totally not true.

Phoebe rolled her eyes before joining her sisters who were talking to the wedding planner who had been hired for my marriage to Chris. Sighing I looked down at the silver engagement ring that was sitting on my ring finger. To say I loved this ring was an understatement and it completely shocked me how happy I was to be getting married. The whole idea of getting married and becoming a wife still gave me a headache, mostly because I was worried that I wouldn't be a good wife.

The coolness of my ring had me looking at it again. It was simple and I suppose that's what I liked about it. The band was slightly chunky with three stones, the middle stone being slightly larger than the other two. I knew Chris had probably asked for Melinda and Wyatt's opinion on the ring, not knowing what would be too out there and what would be way too simple. After six years together he still asks for Melinda's help when he buys me jewellery as presents. Not that I'm fussy about jewellery anyway.

Yeah you heard right, ever since Chris and I saw our future selves when we were sixteen we've been together ever since. Six whole years and we hadn't gotten bored of each other but it was only just about a year ago- before we turned twenty-two,-that Chris had gotten down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

He'd gone all out as well by having a big family get together; then again it was the day that Melinda had had a big birthday party for her nineteenth- since she'd been unable to have one for her eighteenth. She said she hadn't minded Chris proposing. I did in a way though because the colour red took about two hours to fade away from my face since Chris had gotten down on one knee in front of all of his family, which included Paige and Phoebe's families as well as his grandpa. I'm not complaining though because I love the Halliwell/Matthews family.

"Okay and I was thinking maybe a bouquet with three different types of flowers for the bride" the voice of the wedding planner carried through from the parlour.

"God almighty" I huffed and flopped against the back of the chair. Chris chuckled from beside me and I turned my head in his direction. He gave me an apologetic look and shrugged his shoulders.

"Everything will be fantastic on the day Lila. You'll see. Aunt Phoebe means well, so do mom and Aunt Paige" he said and I sighed.

"I know they do Chris and believe me when I say that I love your family, because trust me I do, but I'm on my last nerve" I said rubbing my temples where I'd had a headache for the past half an hour.

"I thought you told them that we wanted an intimate service" I sighed looking at my fiancé. Wait whoa, fiancé, and here come the butterflies telling me I was doing the right thing. I wanted nothing more than for Chris to be legally mine, and I legally his. The whole idea made me slightly giddy. I grinned to myself. Chris smiled back.
