"Lila please focus" one of the older demons said and I nodded at him.
"Sorry Silus I'm having trouble concentrating" I admitted and he smiled at me in understanding.
"I understand that it is fairly boring but unfortunately you must at least be able to fluently read and write in this language, and you must learn the rest of the history of the demonic world by tonight, because you will be asked questions on it" Silus replied and I nodded.
"It's not boring at all, I've just always had a hard time studying, especially for long amounts of time" I replied and Silus nodded before we went back to studying the book of languages in front of me.
It was the day after I'd finally gotten out of the cell and tonight I was due to be coronated. Not in the way that I would become the Source, but in the way that I would finally be recognised as a champion for the demonic world. That and the fact that it would also help me become more powerful by allowing me to finally accept my demonic half. The only problem with this was that I had to be able to read and write in the demonic language perfectly as well as learn the history of the Underworld and memorise as many prophecies as possible. It would be tiring but in the end I knew it would be worth it, because after my coronation I would start training for the final battle with Wyatt. Strangely enough I was feeling exhilarated by everything that was to come. I knew that everything would play out the way I wanted it too, as long as I could get the right people on my side.
My handwriting had gotten much better over the past day and I was able to write about a paragraph of the demonic language in about two minutes, as well as keeping the symbols legible. I was impressed with myself. Currently I was writing down what I'd learnt so far about the Underworld in this language, since learning the language wasn't hard as I could already read it thanks to it being ingrained in my blood.
After about another fifteen minutes Silus told me to take a break as a few of my loyal demons brought in some stuff for me to decorate my room with. I smiled at them as they walked into my living quarters carrying five boxes between them. I'd managed to win over about six more of the demons during the course of the night and this was simply by being myself, showing them my powers and generally relaxing until they felt comfortable with me. This had pissed Darien off badly and I'd took pleasure in knowing that I was able to get a reaction like that.
"Just pop the boxes on the floor" I said politely and my demons nodded, doing as I said before bowing and exiting the room. Josey hurried in once they'd left. I smiled at her.
"Can you give me a hand?" I asked her she smiled.
"Of course. What do you want me to do?" she asked and I smiled at her before opening the boxes.
Two boxes contained brand new items for my room, including bed linen, curtains, and a new collection of clothes. Another two boxes contained my stereo, books and CD's from the Manor. The final box was a flat packed dressing table that I had specifically requested since I would have to get ready for tonight and have to try and look my best from now on. I grinned at Josey.
"Can you just change the bed covers and hang the new curtain in the doorway? I'll take care of the rest" I said and she nodded before stripping the bed of its current covers. I smiled at her before looking around the room.
I frowned at the alcove before waving my hand and the altar crumbled to dust. I nodded before pointing at the cave walls either side of the alcove and they started to move, shifting to do as I'd mentally asked them to do. I'd decided last night that I was going to change the alcove and make it wider so that it would be a hole in the wall where I could meditate and perform personal spells, since I couldn't let my witch powers go to waste.
