Chapter 5 | Challenging

I walked home exhausted.. I went in and walked towards my room, but my mom stopped me.

"Hey, How's school?" She smiled, knowing that I was tired.

"It was fine.." I said, looking down.

"Nope, details please!" She tried asking me again.

"Umm.. I kinda accidently challenged the Alpha and.." "WHAT??!!" she stopped me.

"Y-you challenged the ALPHA??!!" she said, quite surprised.
I just stayed quite, I didn't know what to say.

"You do know that Alphas are very strong, I don't want to see you hurt." She said with concerns.

"It's okay mom, I have a plan!" I said with confidence.

The next day I walked to school by myself, on the way I saw Damien. "Damien, Hi!" I yelled, trying to get his attention.
He turned around and glanced at me, I smiled. But, he turned around and start walking to school.

"What's your problem? You were nice yesterday." I was a little upset.

He stopped for a second, and continued walking. He wouldn't talk to me, I just don't understand werewolfs! Or Omegas, o-or.. ugh whatever!

I continued walking to school, and then I saw the female Alpha. She was talking to some other werewolfs, I ran towards her.

"Alpha! Hey, can I talk to ya for a sec?" I yelled while running towards her.

"Ughh, you again! You're the one who challenged me yesterday! What do you want?" She yelled angrily.

"Well, first of.. what's your name?"

"M-my name?? Wh-why?? *sigh* my name is Blair, why?" She answered quite annoyed.

"No reason, my name is Veronica! And I wanted to challenge you to a friendly battle!" I said, and everyone around started to look at us boft.

"You? Challenge me?? Hahahaha sure, why not? You will lose anyway, when do we fight?"

"I don't wanna fight, I said it's a friendly challenge. We're gonna be playing some volleyball!"

"V-volleyball?? Why volleyball?" She asked,

"Because you didn't suggest anything else, is there anything else?" I raised my eyebrow giving a cheeky look.

"I-i.. Ugh whatever, volleyball sounds fine." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Alright, what about today after school?"

"Fine. Be prepared to LOSE!!" then she stormed off.

Omg! I just challenged the Alpha! I'm not too bad at volleyball so I have a chance to win. And if I do, I will be Alpha and I will defend the Omegas!
