Chapter 14 | Imposter

It was lunch time. All the werewolfs were in the cafeteria, I took that chance to tell everyone about the imposter.
I got up on a table and looked around, I found Lydia, Mollie, and Ashley looking at me and turned around to avoid eye contact.

"I hope they find a way to forgive me." I whispered to myself.

"Can I have all of your attention please!" I yelled in the middle of the cafeteria.
All the werewolfs turn to look at me, accept for Lydia, Mollie, and Ashley.

"I found something bothering my friends, all the mean things I said in WolfBook. That wasn't me, I was framed." I paused.
I heard werewolfs whispering to one another.

"I don't even have WolfBook, please just block that imposter and forgive me if that person said anything that offended you."
As soon as I said that, I saw Lydia's frown curved into a smile, and Mollie's eyes seem to be filled with happiness.
Ashley's hatred in her eyes faded away, and I smiled to see them back.

I jumped down from the table walked over to my old friends,
"We forgive you Veronica." Lydia smiled.

"We're sorry.." Mollie frowned, I just smiled at her and she returned the smile.

"I'm gonna find that imposter and kill them." Ashley said in monotone.

The three of us looked at her and laughed.
We were all happy, just like what we use to be.

After school, I walked out of school earlier than the rest. I wanted to see him, and I wanted to apologize for not seeing him at lunch.

Soon, I saw Tyler and ran up to him.
"Tyler!" I stopped running to catch my breath.

"Oh, hey Alpha." He said.

"I.. wanted.. to say.. sorry.." I paused because I couldn't talk anymore because I was so out of oxygen.

"Yeah?" Tyler asked.

"For not sitting with you at lunch." I finally said.

Tyler just smiled, "It's fine, I had detention anyway." He scratched the back of his head.

"D-dentention? What did you do?" I asked.

"I tried stopping a werewolf fight but I just got involved and made it worse.." He looked embarrassed.

"Oh, well.." I couldn't think of anything to say to that.

"I.. guess I'll go now.." I said as I walked home. It was really awkward, I'm glad I escaped that.

"Hey Veronica!" I turned around to see Chance.

"Hey Chance what's up?" I smiled.

"Oh well, have you seen Tyler? He got hurt after that fight today and I couldn't find him." He asked worriedly.

It warms my heart to see how caring Chance is to his brother, "It's okay Tyler's fine, I just talked to him. He walked home a minute ago." I said.

"Thanks Alpha!" He ran to his brother direction. Hmm.. Chance is a really nice guy, so is Tyler. Maybe I can give them a 'chance' to be male Alpha. (I know the puns are bad ;v;)

On the way home, I bumped into someone, again. This time, they dropped their laptop. I saw the werewolf was opening a WolfBook account called 'VeronicaAlphaNWA' I gasped.

"You! Your the imposter!" I yelled.

He didn't say a word, he kept running away. "Come back here!!" I chased him, until I couldn't breath.
