Chapter 13 | Nightstar Pack

I was outside the school, lying against the school wall while I saw a few werewolfs past by me, I didn't recognize them.. and they didn't wear the same uniforms as I did so I was guessing they were from another school.

One of them caught my eye and I looked away, I didn't want any trouble. What if they were from 'Werewolf Knights Academy'?

She then lost her interest and walked away, I realized it was getting late and I started walking home.

While I wasn't looking I bumped into a werewolf, I quickly realized it was the werewolf I saw earlier.

She fell to the ground and so did I,
"S-sorry." I stuttered.

"It's fine.." She picked up her bag.
"Alpha! Are you alright?" Another werewolf asked and lend her a hand and pulled her up.

"I'm fine, don't worry about it Nikki." She smiled.

Then the first werewolf looked at me, "The names Chloe." She smiled and lifted her right arm for me to shake.

I took her hand and shook it,
"I-I'm Veronica, I guess your the Alpha in your pack huh?" I stuttered again, I guess I was nervous because she was a werewolf from another school.

Chloe smiled, "Yeah, I am. It's actually a small pack I made, it's called the Nightstar Pack." She explained.

"Ahh I see, I'm actually an Alpha myself." I smirked, I became more comfortable and confident as soon as I saw what kind of a person she was.

"Oh? What pack do you lead?" She asked curiously.

"Actually, I happen to be the Alpha of Northern Werewolf Academy." I smirked again.

This time, Chloe laughed. "Really? That's funny, I was just talking to the Alpha of that school a month ago."

"Oh, yeah haha I actually challenged her." I said, and I scratched the back of my head.

"Oh.. I see, anyway it's nice to meet you Veronica. This is my pack," she pointed to the werewolfs that were chatting behind her.

"I'm Chloe, the Alpha of this pack. That's Cameron, he's the subordinate Alpha.
And that's Nikki, Candace, and Syifa, they're the Bettas. And finally Anne, our Omega." She pointed to her pack members one by one.

"They seem nice," I paused when I thought about a simple question,
"Do you.. treat the Omega differently? I mean-" I hesitately asked, but I was cut by Chloe.

"W-what?? Of course not! Omegas might be the lowest rank but we treat them equally." She said sternly.

I smiled, "I completely agree."
We exchanged numbers so we could keep in touch, and I introduced myself to her pack members and continued my walk home.

It was art class now, I looked around to find any of my friends. Nope, it was just me. To be honest, the schedule is getting really weird here. Alot of werewolfs gets send to a different class, it's really confusing to make friends.

I sat down in an empty seat next to me and waited for the class to start.
Moments before the bell someone walked in, "Phew, I was almost late. Thank god I ran to class." She said.

I soon recognized her and yelled, "Hey Fawn!! Over here!"

She smiled and came over to sit next to me, "So.. How's being Alpha working for ya?" She smirked.

I sighed, "Not so good.. Lydia, Mollie, and Ashley are avoiding me.. the worst part is I have no idea why."

Fawn looked at me and gave me a weak smile, "You know.. if I'm being completely honest, you were pretty mean to them on WolfBook."

When she said that I snapped, "That's the thing! I have no idea what 'WolfBook' is!!" I yelled.

Fawn frowned, and the other werewolfs turn to us. "S-sorry, I didn't mean to snap like that." I apologized.

"It's okay V, and.. what do you mean you don't know what WolfBook is? You made an account two weeks ago." Fawn said.

"What?!" I yelled.

"I.. I don't even know what WolfBook is!! I wouldn't make an account for something I don't know." I frowned.

"So.. you were framed?" Fawn asked and looked at me, I can see she was worried.

"I guess so.." I whispered back but loud enough for Fawn to hear.

"We have to tell everyone!" She yelled.
Good thing class haven't started yet.

I stood up and soon everyone looked at me and their attention was on me, "I would like to make an announcement!" I paused.

"Please be aware that I do NOT have a WolfBook account and whoever that is, it's not me. It's an imposter." I said.

Everyone started whispering, "Please spread the word." And at that I sat back down.

"You need to say it infront of the whole school too." Fawn said.

I sighed, "I know. I hope when this stops Lydia, Mollie, and Ashley will talk to me again."

"I hope so too." Fawn smiled.
