Chapter 10 | Secrets

I stood infront of my house. I walked in the door, I looked around to see mom wasn't there.
"Huh, looks like she's working late today." I spoke to myself.

I walked to my room and turned on my laptop, I promised to Skype with Fawn.
Soon, I got a call from her.

Skype Call
"Hey V!" She said.

"Hey Fawn, I guess 'V' is my new nickname heh?" I giggled.

"Hahah, yeah. It's much shorter!" She laughed.

"Anyway, what did you want to talk to me about?" She asked.

"Oh, it's about.. how badly werewolfs treat the Omegas. Why is that?" I asked.

She stayed silent for a moment.
"I want to fix this problem." I continued.

"Well, it's a long story.."

Flashback
5 Years ago, there was an Alpha in this school. He was the best Alpha the school has ever had. This Alpha was loyal, kind, and also fair.

But one day, there was a transfer student from Werewolf Knights Academy. (I know it's a really bad name)
That school was our school's biggest rival.

The Alpha ordered the werewolfs to stay away from her, "She could be a spy that wants to ruin our school's reputation!"
The werewolfs from our school was worried that she was an Alpha. Turns out, she was an Omega. The other werewolfs were glad.

Because she was an Omega from a hated school, werewolfs here started bullying her.
One day, another Omega came and helped the poor transfered student. Because of this, the werewolfs bullied him too.

Flashback End

"And from that day forward, werewolfs here don't appreciate Omegas and they often bully them. Especially when they're close to the Alpha." Fawn explained.

"Wow, that's a sad story." I replied.

"Yeah, it really saddens me. I feel bad for Damien and the other Omegas. Damien is a really nice guy, he helped me in hard times." She said.

"I'm really sorry Fawn, I'm going to fix this!" I smiled, it was a determined smile.

"Thanks V, I'm counting on you." She smiled.

End Skype Call

I looked down to my wolf plushie.
"Being Alpha is more difficult then I thought." I frowned.

I looked into my plushies eyes, I smiled. "Yeah, you're right! I can do this. In fact, I'm going to be the best Alpha this school has ever seen!" I was exited. More then I've ever been in forever.

~The Next Day~
"Bye mom!" I ran to school. Not sure why, But I was exited.

When I arrived at school, I saw a bunch of werewolfs were in groups. I realised, Damien is the only Omega I know.
I helped him in the past, but what if other Omegas need me help.

I went to the first werewolf I saw, "Hey you!" I yelled.

"A-alpha!! Uhh.. I promise I wasn't causing trouble!" He was sweating.

"I know, I was wondering, where does the Omegas usually hang out?" I asked.

"Oh.. I think I usually see them in the back of the school. I'm not completely sure though." He said.

"Alrighty, thanks!" I ran to the back of the school. When I arrived, I saw Damien. He was alone on a bench, I felt bad for him. Was he the only Omega?

I approached him, "Hey, Damien. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"A-alpha!! I.. I-I'm just.. reading my book! Yeah.." he looked down.

"Pfft, come on! You think you can fool the Alpha?"

"NO! No.. ofcores not." He mumbled.

"Damien, are you the only Omega in this school?" I asked again.

"Uhh.. not really. The Omegas in this school usually hang out in the library." He said.

I was so confused, "What? Why the library?"

"Because Alpha, they hide there all day to avoid the other werewolfs. If not, they'll get bullied." He answered.

I was shocked, "But, you're an Omega. And you're not hiding and avoiding, why is that?"

"Because, I was the Alpha here last year. I lost my title and now I'm an Omega. I'm bigger than the other Omegas, so werewolfs don't bully me as much." He looked down.

"Damien.." I whispered.

"Alpha I do respect you. But why are you asking me this?" He turned to me.

"Because.. I want to help you." I smiled.

He didn't say anything back, he just walked inside. He looked at me again,
"If that's true, then good luck." Then he continued walking.

I learnt alot today. Now all I need is a plan, a plan to help the Omegas.

"Time to hit the books!"

This isn't the most exciting chapter but it does have useful information.
I decided to publish this sooner because I just finished writing chapter 12!
