Chapter 6 | History

Class is over and I ran to lunch because I was starving!
I saw my friends, Lydia, Mollie, and Ashley.

"Over here!" Lydia yelled, trying to get my attention.

I sat down next to the three of them, and Lydia started the confersation.

"So, how was the private class? You know, after school with Ms.Heather?" She asked.

"Oh well.. it was a rocky start but I managed to understand. Now I can hide my ears and tail!" I was really exited to tell them.

"That's great! Show us!" Mollie said.

"Okay." Then, a light from my ears and tail appeared and then they boft dissapeared.

"Wow.. amazing." Ashley said with a sarcastic voice.

Then, I tried making them reapear. But, it wasn't working.
"Wha-what?? Why isn't it working??!" I started to panic a little,

"You should find Ms.Heather!" Lydia said, she was a little worried about me.

"Uhh.. okay," I was so dissapointed and frusteated. A tear started to fall down my face.

"I'll take you there!" Mollie said,

"I wish I could but I got History, which means I can NOT be late." Lydia explained.

"Thanks Mollie, and it's okay Lydia. See you later!" I said, while waving to Lydia and Ashley.

Ashley wasn't much help, but that's just how she is, and Mollie is just the sweetest! I really want to get to know her more.

I entered Miss Heather's class,
"Ms.Heather? I need help with something.." I yelled trying to find her.

"Ahh yes, Veronica what can I do for you?" She asked kindly.

"Veronica tried showing us disappearing her ears and tail, but she can't making them reappear." Mollie helped me explain.

"Ohh, did you forget that little secret I told you?" She asked, at first I didn't know what she meant. But soon, I understood.

I thought about the werewolf spirit I felt yesterday at her private class, and soon enough my ears and tail reappeared.

"I.. I did it!! Thank you Ms.Heather." I thanked her and smiled.

"Anytime Veronica." She said and waved me goodbye, I walked out with a smile on my face.

Ms.Heather is the best teacher ever, I thought to myself.
"That was amazing!" Mollie said.

"Thanks" I smiled.

I walked to history class today and surprisingly.. I wasn't late.
"Hello Ms.Gabbriel." I greeted the teacher.

"Hello Veronica, have a seat." She said.

I sat down waited for the class to start.
Soon enough, the bell rang.

"Alright class, today we're going to learn about the history of full-blooded and half-blooded werewolfs." She said.

As soon as I heard the topic, I prepared my ears and ready my notebook.

"Full-blooded werewolfs were the first to exist. It was because of a boy, that got bitten by a wolf, which was a cursed werewolf. Sometime later, the boy turns into a werewolf every full moon." I wrote all her words as she was explaining.

"Through the years, werewolfs evolve and look like us now. Full-blooded werewolfs can transform as you learnt in art class."

"Then one day, a full-blooded werewolf came out to the mountain to howl. Then a girl who was there watched, somehow they saw each other. And sometime later they got married."

"This was the start of half-blooded werewolfs. Full-blooded werewolfs think that half-blooded werewolfs are dirty creatures. But that is in the past, today we are all equal." She finished her story and I realized I wanted to know more.

"Now I'm gonna give you all assignments, you have to choose a partner and make a report about this." She said.

Everyone in class looked for a partner before, "I will be choosing your partners." Ms.Heather said and the class frowned.

"Drake and Lizzy"
"Fawn and Veronica"
"Max and Jerry"
"..."

Fawn? Who's that? I asked myself.
Then a girl with brown hair and orange ears and tail with brown on the tips of her tail and ears came up to me.

"Hi I'm Fawn! I guess we're partners huh?" She smiled.
"Yep," I smiled back.

"I've never seen you before, you must be a freshman!" She said.

"Yeah, heheh I'm new. So, when do you wanna do this project?" I asked.

"What about at my house? After school."

"Sure!" I smiled and we chatted about the project and some other stuff.
Soon enough, we became great friends! And I learnt that she's a sophomore.
