Chapter 9 | Learning to be Alpha

I changed somethings on the last chapter because I didn't like how things were going and I messed up and forgotten some parts. Its all fixed now and you can re-read it if you want. That's all, enjoy this chapter!

Today was a new day, I got ready for school and started going 30 minutes sooner than usual.

"Bye mom! I'm off to school." I smacked the door accidentally because I was so excited. Before I got yelled at I ran as fast as I could.

The school looked as busy as usual, when I walked through the crowd one of them yelled. "ALPHA'S HERE!!"

Before I even blinked, everyone heading towards me.
"Alpha, Congratulations on yesterday! You were amazing." Alot of them yelled something like that and I ran to the nearest girls bathroom.

I got in a stall and locked the door.
"Looks like I'll be staying here for a while." I whispered to myself.

I heard the door opened and I heard a similar voice, talking to an unknown voice.
"She makes such joke over her role as Alpha female."

"I know right? The worst part is that she's freshman."

"Yep, and she's gonna pick an Alpha male. Wait, why didn't YOU chose and Alpha male when you were Alpha?"

"It's Blair.." I whispered.

"Because Felicia, I wanted someone worthy. Noone was worthy in my eyes."

"Oh I see, well then that Veronica girl is going to feel the pain choosing an Alpha Male."

"Heheh yep!"

A few minutes later they left the bathroom, I felt it was safe going outside. But I had questions, "What do they mean by Alpha Male?" I asked myself.

While I was walking to class I saw Fawn, "Fawn! Wait up!" I yelled.

"Oh, hey Alpha." She said.

"You can call me Veronica, you know?"

"Whatever you say Alpha." She smiled.

"Well, I need your help. Why does everyone keep talking to me?? It's getting ridiculous." I frowned.

"Heh, that happens to every Alpha on their first week." She giggled.

I looked down, "Oh.. I see. Well I guess I have to survive this for a week." I laughed.

"You can stick with me if you want. I'll protect you." She said.

"Ok, sure." I smiled.

We boft spent the day together, Fawn is a great friend. I'm glad I have her as one.

But then she had to leave, "Sorry V, see you later!" She waved at me and ran off.

I looked around for some other werewolfs to hang with. Then I saw Damien, "Hey Damien!" I yelled.

"Oh, hey Alpha." He said.

"Heh, you can call me Veronica." I smiled.

"Oh, okay. Do you need anything Alpha?" He asked.

"It's Ver- heh nevermind.. I'm looking for someone to hang out with actually." I said.

"Ohh.. uhh, I-I wou-" before he finished someone else shouted.

"Alpha!" I turned around and saw Brock.

"Oh, h-hey Brock what's up?" I smiled.

"Well, I was wondering how you think of the party last night." He said.

"Oh, yeah I loved it! It was the best party ive ever been to." I smiled.

He smiled in return, "I'm glad."

I looked towards Damien, "Hey, why didn't I see you there?" I asked.

He looked surprised by my question, "Umm.. I wasn't invited." He frowned.

"What? Brock, why didn't you invite him?"
I asked.

"Oh.. well it's a long story but werewolfs here don't like Omegas so they don't get invited to parties." Hearing his words hurt me, I felt pity for the Omegas.

"Well, I wanna change that. What if, next time.. you invite Omegas. Actually, I will invite them myself." I said with confidence.

Everyone looked at me surprised, "W-why?" Brock asked.

"Because I want Omegas to be appreciated too." I smiled.

"Whatever you say Alpha." Brock looked. rather upset, I think he was saying 'whatever' in his head.

I didn't care, I stand up for what I think is right.

~Damien's POV~
Why did she say that? Did she say it cause she felt pity for Omegas? Or did she say it so all Omegas can come? Or did she say it for me? But why would she? I'm just an Omega.. we don't get invited to parties.
Werewolfs in this school treats Omegas very harshly.

"Uhh.. Damien?" I saw the Alpha waving her hand on my face.

"Huh?? Alpha!! Uhh sorry.." I apologized.
Then, I ran. I have no idea why.. Alpha was probably so confused, I felt stupid.

~Veronica's POV~
It was finally over, my first day of school being Alpha. It was tough, but I'm sure I will make it out alive.

I saw Damien again, but this time he's with a bigger werewolf then him. I wondered what was it all about, I knew that I was Alpha now so I knew I was allowed to go in other werewolfs' business.

I walked over, "Hey, what's going on?" I asked. Soon, everyone turned to me.
"A-alpha??" Turns out, there were bunch of werewolfs there. They looked scared, but one stood up.

"Pardon me Alpha but, Damien here was causing trouble." He said.

"Oh? How so?" I asked again.

"He started a big fight an-"

"That's not true!!" He yelled.

"SHUT UP!" The other werewolf said.
I didn't interrupted because I wanted to look professional.

"And?" I replied.

"Well, that's all.." he scratched the back of his head.

"Alright, Damien." I said, he walked over to me. "Yes Alpha?"

"What's your explanation? The other werewolfs here seems to blame you.
Can you defence yourself from this?"
I asked, I looked calm. But actually, my head was different.

Inside Veronica's head:
Omg I probably look so professional hahah!! Man, I feel so respected. I have my first case this is so COOL!! iebfownfowbdwkkwndn

Back to the Story
"Yes, they're all blaming me because I'm an Omega. They didn't like the fact that I was friends with the Alpha. They're the one that picked a fight with me." He replied.

His face seems serious, and I know the difference between a person lying and telling the truth.

"I believe you Damien, you may go." I said.

"WHAT?!!" The other werewolf yelled.

"T-thank you, Alpha." He walked away.

I looked to the other werewolfs with anger in my eyes. "How could you lie to me?" I asked.

I saw them sweating, "Uhh.. you see, he's the liar!" One of them yelled.

"I don't need anymore of your lies. I want you to think about what you've done, and I want you to respect Omega's next time."
I looked serious. They were even more nervous.

"Y-yes, Alpha." They replied.

"Good." I looked at them, and they looked down.

They all went home and I smiled, I solved my first case. I felt proud.
