Before I The chapter starts I wanted to say: THANK YOU FOR 300 READS AND 50 VOTES!! Enjoy this chapter!!

~Veronica's POV~
After what happened with Tyler yesterday, I didn't feel like talking to him. He still didn't want to talk to me, so I guess the feeling is mutual. We weren't mad, we just decided it's best to avoid each other for a while.

While I was walking to school I saw Damien, I wanted to say hi but.. I didn't feel like talking. I felt like being invisible for the day, I still was upset that my imposter was a friend.

When I got to school, I realized it was impossible to be invisible.
"Alpha! We have a problem." I heard a werewolf yell.

I took a deep breath and turned around, "Yes? What is it?" I put on a fake smile, trying to keep my cool.

"Two werewolfs are fighting." He said.

"And what's the cause of that?" I calmly asked.

"Uhh.. they were trying to prove who's best and worthy of male Alpha." He said.

I face-palmed, looks like Chance was right.
Trouble would be around without a male Alpha.

I took a deep breath, "Tell them, the Alpha will be chosen when the time is right."

"No disrespect but.. Aren't you going to tell them yourself Alpha?" He looked confused.

"No. I'm busy, please tell them." I said and ran of, I didn't want to meet them because I knew they will ask for me to choose a male Alpha.

I didn't know yet, I want to see with my own eyes a person worthy of Alpha. I know myself that I was not, but I must look like I am worthy.

~Chance's POV~
I looked up to the sky, "How are you today?" I asked my brother. We were walking to school.

He didn't answer, he looked down. I became worried, "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing." He answered.
I began to think it was useless asking him.
If he isn't in the mood he's just not gonna tell. He keeps to himself alot.

"If you're not telling me, I'll find out sooner or later." I said, glaring at him.

Then we arrived at school. "Good." He yelled as he ran away.

At class, Veronica was sitting alone, so I decided to sit next to her. "Hey Alpha!"

"Oh.. Chance, hey.." she looked down.

"Did I do something?" I asked.

"No.. it's just, I'll tell you later." She said.

"You're acting just like Tyler this morning. Does it have anything to do with him?" I asked.

Her eyes widen, she opened her mouth but no words came out.
"I'll take that as a yes." I quickly said.

"Did he do something? You can tell me anything, I'm your best friend." I said, being very careful with my words.

She looked up, and sighed. "Yes.. the truth is that.. I found out that he was the imposter."

I was shocked. I knew she was framed but I didn't think Tyler would do it. "What?! What did you say?"

"We didn't want to talk to each other, I think he felt guilty."

I thought about it for a minute. I couldn't find anything to say that can make her feel better, "I could try to talk to him." I paused.

"But he's stubborn, I don't know if he'll listen to me." I added. She looked down with disappointment.

"It's worth the shot right?" I smiled, and she nodded. Soon class began, I was determined to find Tyler.

~Veronica's POV~
After class was over, I saw Chance sprinted out of class. He's a nice guy, I just wish more werewolf are like him.

At my next class was werewolf art. I sat next to Damien as the teacher explained about the importance of self defense.

"I wish he'd just let us try fighting instead of talking about it." Damien said and I chuckled.

"Don't you do that at sport?" I asked.

"Yeah, do you do it?" He asked.

I shook my head, "Nope, half-blooded werewolfs don't fight. I don't know why though.. it would be cool." I looked down at my paper as I doodled a bunch of random things.

"You doodle when you're nervous." I heard Damien whisper.

"What?"

"You're upset, or nervous.. what's wrong?" He asked.

"Pfft, what're you talking about? I'm not!" I lied. I didn't feel like explaining stuff to him.

"Okay.. how is the Omega problem?" He asked, changing the topic. He meant well but, it made me upset and I looked down.

"Sorry.. I shouldn't have said that." he apologized.

I shook my head, "It's fine, I'm not feeling too well." It was true, I wasn't happy at all.

Damien stayed quiet for a while, "I.." he tried saying something but the bell rang.

"See you later Damien." I said and walked out. I guess I was a little rude, I hope he wasn't offended.

It was lunch, I remember that I was friends with Lydia, Mollie, and Ashley again!
I ran to their seat and sat down. "Hey guys!"

"Hey V! How are you doing? It's been a while since we talked." Mollie said.

"Yeah, did you hear about the fight this morning?" Lydia asked.

We talked for the rest of lunch and we were interrupted when Chance came.
"Alpha.." he nervously said.

"It didn't go well, did it?" I asked.
He scratched the back of his head, "I'll take that as a no." I said.

"Sorry to disappoint you." He said, I smiled.

~Chance's POV~
"Nah it's fine, if he doesn't want to talk to me then that's his loss." She said.
"I mean, who doesn't want to talk to the Alpha?" She chuckled.

"Yeah, I guess." I awkwardly laughed and then there was a moment of silence.

Then V spoke up, "Aren't you gonna go eat with your friends or something?"

"No, all my friends are playing soccer. I'm not into that sport." I said.

"Well, you can sit down if you'd like." She said, "Right?" She asked her friends. They nodded.

"Thanks, but no thanks. I gotta go anyway." I waved as I ran off.

"Suit yourself!"

"Tyler!" I yelled in the empty hallway, he turned around with that frown on his face. I'm sick of it, if you're upset then talk!

"What do you want, brother?" He said, he was upset, sad, and stressed.

"I expected better from you." I said furiously. I had a thought in my head, he just wasted s great chance he could've had.

He must've realized, "What's on your mind?" He asked me.

"You know.. Veronica had a crush on you."
I smirked, his eyes widen in shock.

He stayed silent, so I guess I have to do the talking.
"But.. after what happened I doubt she still has it." I looked straight at him, he looked down.

"You had your 'chance', and you blew it." I must've sounded angry because he looked scared at me.
I cleared my throat and took a deep breath, "Sorry." I walked away, I left him speechless.

1000+ Words!! Mission accomplished!!
Sorry if this is a boring chapter, I didn't have any ideas for it. I'm still thinking on which ship to sail.. I.Can't.Deside.
