Taehyung unpacked his things faster than he wished he had. At first, Taehyung wanted to finish unpacking quickly. Taehyung hated unpacking. Now that he had actually finished unpacking, he wanted to pack his stuff again, just to unpack it. Because now he had nothing to do, he was sat on his new bed, staring at the new walls, listening to the new clock tick as the minutes passed. He considered taking out his phone, texting someone at home. Mother. Taehyung shook his head quickly. "No" He mumbled to himself. He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't break so soon. No, he wouldn't break at all. He was going to be fine. He liked his new bed and the new walls and the new clock. Actually, he didn't like that clock. It was loud and annoying, but he liked everything else so far. He liked Jin and he liked Jimin. He liked being away from the old town. He liked being away from the old bed and the old walls and the old clo- well, no, he actually would rather have his old clock here but you know, 'beggars can't be choosers' and it had taken Taehyung a lot of begging to get here. He let out a deep, content sigh and lay back on the new bed, a small smile etching its way onto his face. He liked it. He liked being able to use the word new. New town, new people, new house. New beginning? The smile fell from his face and he rubbed his temples, sitting back up once again. That's what it was. Wasn't it? A new beginning. A way to start again, a way to make up for the past. It was supposed to be a new beginning but it didn't feel like one. It felt like running. Running away from his problems. Running away so he didn't have to deal with them. That shouldn't matter now, those were old problems. This was new. It had to be.
