Hayden's POV

After we had come home that night I had told Gary everything. From what I still felt like when I was with Ro to the things that Adrian had told me.

He had been shocked too but he told me that this was a further proof that she atleast still liked me. Today was Monday morning and I was pretty excited to see Ro after the long weekend.

Ro adn't even come down to the office for a few days after new Year's Eve claiming that there were some family issues so I had asked Ricky if anything was serious and should I go to her place to check if she needed any help but he had quickly told me that there was no need for me to go there and she was fine but for some unknown reason I didn't trust him at all.

I hurriedly reached my cabin but when I saw who was sitting there on my desk, I stopped dead in my tracks.

" Mary-Jane?!"

Gary's POV

I knew that Rosella had been sick all this while that's why I had to lie to my best buddy that he story that she had told to everyone other than me and Ricky was true.

I didn't really know why she wouldn't want him to know but she had already become a close friend and I wasn't one to betray anyone's trust.

I was walking along the corridor to see how was Rose doing when I decided to go see Den first. But when I opened the door to his cabin i saw Mary-Jane practically glued to Hayden's side and the sight of this made me sick.

She got up and came to me and pecked me on my cheek and I tried my best not to gag when she said "Hey Gary! Surprised to see me?" More like highly displeased to see you, I thought. Then she laughed her snobbish girly laugh and continued "I just thought that why not come and see my baby cause he is working so hard -"

At this I actually gagged but she thought that I was simply fake-gagging, for all that she was worth, she must think that I'm doing this to please he so-called love for Hayden. I said "Awesome idea Mary-Jane!" even though on the inside I was seething with rage that Hayden hadn't even bothered to tell her that he was done with her and was going to right the wrong that he had done in his past.

Suddenly Mary-Jane's phone rang and she answered it saying "Really? Like - right now? Alright fine! I'll be there, just give me a minute."

She turned and gave Hayden a deep kiss, seeing which I was probably scarred for life, and said "I'll see you later baby, I need to go for some urgent work but I'll be back in an hour or so! Ciao!" Then she pecked him once more while Hayden sat there like a statue and went off down the hallway with a "Bye Gary!" behind her back.

As soon as she was gone I turned towards Hayden with rage very clearly visible in my eyes "Have you completely lost your mind?! I thought that you were gonna break it off with her forever!"

"Look, seeing her again today made me realize why I left Ro in the first place. How do we know that she really didn't cheat on me all those years back, huh?" He asked me, getting up from his table.

I punched him hard on his jaw which made him stumble, clutching his jaw and groaning in pain while I rubbed my knuckles and said "Don't you dare call her Ro! You lost the right to call her that when you just doubted her agai. If you still have insane doubts about her then you are a complete sick as*hole! I don't know what to do with you....fine....be with that whore but don't you dare even think for the slightest second that you have any right to even think of being with Rose again, not till you are completely sure as to who is really at fault here!"
