One day Selene was called upon by her brothers Helios and Eos. At first she refused to meet them as she was going to the small park to watch the small pale boy play. But when the two brothers nagged her constantly she agreed. She was going to meet them not far from Karia. They were to meet under a big oak tree. When she went to meet the gods of sun and dawn, Helios and Eos she had to wait for them to come. She waited for some time after which she saw Eos coming up the hill. She was looking at him after a long time and didn't realise when Helios came from behind her and knocked her unconscious.

Selene woke up only to see herself in a closed area. It was too dark for her to know where she was. Soon enough she heard the voices of her brothers. She extended her arms to know the shape of whatever she was locked in. It felt like a box. She kept her hand on the surface on the thing she was contained in and felt a warm hand on the surface from outside.

" Sweet Selene. "

It was Eos.

" My sister, we are really sorry to do this to you. But let me tell you that Zeus had ordered us to do so. And you know my love that we cannot not listen to his orders. I hope you forgive us one day. But you are to be locked in for ten years. We are sorry. "

Selene felt the warmth leave the surface and she shouted and pounded at the surface but nobody listened to her. She tried to break the thing she was in but couldn't succeed. Her powers used to drain but she would never be able to break the surface. After a year she stopped trying and simply sat down thinking about the pale boy and her love Endymion. She would think what the small pale boy who was to save her Endymion would be doing. Who her Endymion would be dreaming about. These thoughts kept her busy for another year.

But after being trapped for five years straight Selene started to blame Zeus for what was happening. She had become very angry at the lord of the sky. She would curse him and think what she had done wrong to have this fate.

Meanwhile, Zeus sat in his throne in the throne room with his head held high. He would look at the empty throne beside Apollo and smile to himself. He had loathed the fact that Selene had used the name of their daughter to find her way through. Zeus had never like Endymion and the love Selene had for that mortal. He was a mortal who had been in deep slumber for decades and had not moved an inch since then, he was a worthless mortal, thought Zeus. Never had he ever thought that her beautiful Selene would leave him and fall in love with a mortal. He had been planning for some time now to make Selene pay. When he saw how happy she was after the birth of the night sky eyes boy he knew just what he had to do. Zeus knew that till the time that boy was alive Selene would be united with Endymion. So he planned on killing the pale boy before he ever became old enough to help Selene.

Zeus had tried a lot of times to kill the boy but Selene was protecting him with her own powers. He somehow had to make Selene leave the boy's side. So he called upon Helios and Eos, the two people Selene trusted the most and ordered them to trap Selene. He knew that they couldn't not agree to obey his order. Zeus now tried to kill the boy but he never died. Zeus would throw lighting at his path but the boy would simply change his path. Even as a young mortal he was clever. The ten years of Selene being trapped were coming to an end and the boy was still alive. He knew he couldn't kill the boy so he tried to cause as much damage to his life as he could. Zeus had tortured all his lovers to madness. He had taken away his family and destroyed his house. Zeus seemed to be very satisfied with what he had done.

But the poor boy had stopped weeping. He was enraged at the gods and lived an isolated life. He had gained a lot of knowledge and he knew to reverse any curse or spell by now. He was successful in a way but he would always keep himself in the dark and away from the human world. He would reside in the forest and help anyone who came for his help as he knew gods would never help the mortal.
