Ebony's pov

Annabelle laughed at the comment. I had only heard that laugh a few times, and it never meant anything good. The last time I'd heard that laugh I had to hold her back to keep her from attacking the school bully. I figured I should break this up before one of them got murdered.

I pulled off Annabelle and Johnny Toast held back Jimmy. I glared at Maxwell.
"This is your fault."

He shrugged.
"Most things are."

"SHE TOUCHED KNIFEY SHE HAS TO DIE!!"

"Jimmy just calm down. I'll make some tea."

"Never!"

Toast sighed.
"Miss Ebony can you restrain him while I get the tea?"

I looked at Annabelle.
"Are you calm enough for me to let go."

"I am always calm."

"That's a lie but okay."
I let her go then took over holding Jimmy. He was a lot harder to hold onto than Annabelle.

I have no clue how it worked but somehow the tea relaxed him enough to go back to being Ghost.
"Well that was interesting," he said frowning.
"Maybe I should make it clear," his eyes flashed red briefly, "No one touches Knifey if then want to continue living."

"Calm Sir."

Johnny Ghost put his head in his hands.
"I'm calm, I'm calm."

Just then Annabelle's phone rang. She looked down at the number then motioned for us all to be quiet as she pushed speaker phone.
"Hello?"
Her voice was empty and emotionless.

"Hello sweetie."
It was her dad.

I spoke up.
"Hello @$$butt."

"Ebony. Still being a terrible influence I see. And based on this letter my daughter has left me you have corrupted her further."

"Yes I have, whatcha gonna do about it?"

Annabelle motioned for me to be quiet again.
"What do you want Daddy?"

"I want you to come home with me. You and Jay both."
It would have been a sweet thing to say if he hadn't said it so angrily.

Annabelle's eyes darkened.
"I will never come back to you. I wouldn't come back to you if I had no where else to go. Jay deserves better than you."

"Well I just don't think that's true. He's right here with me, why don't I ask him?

All the color drained from Annabelle's face.
"How? The school was under strict orders not to let anyone take him out except me."

Her dad laughed on the other end.
"It's amazing what a warrant can get you, even if it isn't real. Don't worry, I won't hurt him. I'm just taking him to a restaurant. Some place called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Come by between twelve and six a.m. and we can discuss you coming home again. If you take to long I'll leave with Jay and leave you alone, If you come to early, well, it's going to be a pain to clean up. Remember, if you want you're bratty little brother back you'll meet me at midnight. Not before, not after."
And he hung up.

We all watched Annabelle carefully. For a few seconds she just stood there. Then, she grabbed a baseball bat she had sat on the table and bolted for the door. It took me, Maxwell, Toast, and Ghost to finally restrain her.

"Miss Annabelle do be reasonable. Didn't you hear what he said would happen if you came early?"

"I don't care. I know where he is. I'm gonna go to him and I'm gonna kill him."

She tried to escape again but we held on tight.

"Well," said Ghost, "If you won't listen then we'll just make it impossible for you to leave."

He pulled out a pair of handcuffs and gave me a look that said 'don't ask.'
