Chapter Six

Crow left with Rebecca and I took the human meat up to my room while Shadow went home to grab her mask. I did tell everyone not to wear their masks but I didn't think she would leave it at home. The house was quiet and dark, I had turned the lights off in most of the rooms and left mine on. After I finished my meal I laid down in my bed to rest a little before our "mission" tonight. Just as I was about to fall asleep the doorbell went off all throughout the house, I slowly made my way out of my bed and to the door. When I opened I noticed the rain that was pounding down and in it stood Suto, he visited too often! 

I rushed him inside and ran to grab a towel from the closet then brought back for him to dry his hair off. He looked at me surprised as I helped him take his wet coat off and hang it up on the coat rack. I grabbed another towel and handed it to him so he could dry off everything else.

"Don't you think you visit me too much? Plus you're no good if you get sick...now are you?"

"Sorry, I tried calling the number you called me by but I got no answer and I was worried you were gonna do something stupid. What are you planning?"

"Don't worry about it, I told you that already!"

He shrugged and sat on the couch which made me cross my arms and pout a little.

"Cute," He said as he looked at me then back to the ceiling.

I glared then headed to the stairs when Suto jumped in front of me, I looked at him like he was crazy. He grabbed my by the shoulders and pulled me into a hug, I went to push away from him but he just held on tighter so I didn't fight.

"Cheshire, please don't get hurt. When this is all over I...I hope that you and your family will live in peace."

I slowly nodded against his chest and he stepped away from me, I looked up at him to find him smiling as though he was holding back tears. He cleared his throat and I pulled him into a hug again which didn't last long because all three people came back. Shadow, Rebecca, and Crow all walked through the door and I jumped away from him and turned to look at them. Rebecca bounced inside and greeted Suto, Shadow stood behind everyone just kinda lurking while Crow tried to hold Rebecca back.

"Oh, Hello sir. It's nice to meet you! I'm Rebecca but you can call my Becca if you please."

"Forgive her, she is special," Crow said smiling politely. 

Suto just nodded and Rebecca chimed in again, "I'm not special! So mister what shall we call you?"

"Oh uh, you can call me Suto if you please," Suto said awkwardly.

Shadow appeared out of nowhere with a mischevious grin on her face, "I'm pretty sure Lena said something about that man there being your boyfriend!"

I turned on her like a ravenous wolf turned on a bunny and for a second she was scared but she knew that it was all a bluff. She knew I would never hurt her and that she would never hurt me but her expression was funny. 

"REALLY?! YOU GUYS WOULD MAKE SUCH A CUTE COUPLE," Rebecca yelled.

"I guess," I said shyly then Rebecca attached herself to me.

With a suspicious look she said, "Are you two sure you're dating? I mean you guys look so awkward when together."

"Because were in front of people," I said looking down at her.

"That's not true! If you guys really like each other then you would show it like I do with Juso," She said then launched herself at an unsuspecting Crow and attacked him with kisses. 

Everyone chuckled as they fell to the floor and Shadow trying to pry her off, "I'm sorry for the trouble," Suto said as he tried to squeezed past but was stopped by Rebecca.
