Ch 34

It was Monday morning when Kellin heard (or was told but minor details).

He was at his locker, getting his things when Katelynn came up to him with a worried expression on her face.

"Did you hear?" She whispered.

"All the useless gossip?" Kellin replied.

"Well it's not a rumor! It's true! It happened." She said, continuing to whisper.

"What happened now? Nordstrom had a sale?"

"No but I wish. Anyways, it's that Vic slept with Danielle on Friday!"

"Good for him?"

"I thought you guys were together?" She shouted, getting glances thrown her way. "Aren't you upset or anything?"

"No." Kellin replied slowly. He was about to say something else when Katelynn's phone buzzed.

"They just walked in,holding hands. Kellin, why aren't you worried?"

"Because we aren't together and we broke up on Friday."

Katelynn glanced around and saw Vic and Danielle walking their way.

"If I do something insane, will you still be my friend?"

"I never wanted to be your friend in the first place."

"Good."

And Kellin found out a few seconds later, that he hates her. She had pulled him in to kiss him on the lips. The fuck!?

"What the hell is your problem?" Kellin shouted, pushing her away. "Stay away from me." He turned around and walked past Vic and Danielle, both who saw what happened, and didn't spare them a glance.

"Wow." Danielle said with a smirk as they walked up to Katelynn. "You got rejected by the freak."

"I did, yeah." Katelynn replied. "But I didn't end up with his sloppy seconds so who's the real sad bitch here?"

"Yeah well your attempt to get Vic jealous was retarded."

"I wasn't trying to get him jealous. And how are you so sure Vic here, isn't using you to get Kellin jealous?" With that, Katelynn flipped her hair over her shoulder and turned around to walk away.
