"Kellin!" Katelynn shouted once she entered the school. Kellin sighed and closed his locker. "Kellin!"

"What ever do I owe this morning to hearing your shrilly voice?"

"You rejected Vic!"

"Any more louder and the aliens might hear you."

"I'm serious! Vic is everything anyone could've dreamed of and you blew it!"

"A, if anyone wants him, they can have him. B, how'd you know I rejected him? I didn't tell you."

"Uh, someone saw and overheard." Katelynn replied.

"Well who I date or rather not date is none of your business."

"But I'm your best friend!"

"You're my parasite right now."

"Give him a chance, please?"

"When pigs fly. I have to get to class. Don't talk to me when you see me."

"Stop staring at me." Kellin replied as he exchanged his binder.

"You're really good at that." Vic replied.

"What do you want?"

"I want you to go on a date with me Kellin."

"And I want the government to release what they know about foreign alien trade yet that hasn't happened."

"Stop being sarcastic for once."

"Stop being an ass."

"I'm never an ass."

"I care about others." Kellin said as he closed his locker. "I have to get to class. Please, act like you don't know me."

When Kellin walked away, Vic pulled out his phone.
