Ch 35

It's been two weeks since their break up and Danielle is saying that Vic broke up with Kellin to be with her.

Thank god Kellin doesn't care.

("Or so you say ... " but what do Katelynn and Daniel know?)

"Kellin." His teacher shouted, making the boy jump a bit. "Can you answer my question?"

"What question?"

"What's your perspective on love?"

And seriously? Out of all the students to ask? Really? And it's even better that he shares this class with Vic.

"It's stupid." Kellin replied in his usual monotone voice.

"And why's that?"

"If I wanted to share my personal life with these assholes, I'd do it on the overhead."

"What'd you call me?" On the jocks shouted.

"An asshole. Or is your ego too big that it prevents you from hearing?"

"Boys, that's enough. Kellin, share with the class why you think love is stupid."

"Because it's overplayed." Kellin said after sighing. "Everyone want to fall in love and everyone wants to be loved. "

"You can't blame people for wanting to be happy." Vic said loudly, making everyone look at him.

"You're right." Kellin replied, looking into his eyes. "But if the only way you can be happy is by someone loving you, then you have issues."

"Have you ever even liked anyone, Kellin?" Vic asked, making everyone turn to look at Kellin.

"No. I'm Kellin with a dot. The dot means that's it. Nothing else or no one else to add."

Kellin watched as Vic picked up his things and walked out of the classroom.

"Victor!" His teacher shouted after him.

"I've got it." Kellin whispered, taking his things with him.

He knew exactly where Vic would be and so he walked out to the foot ball field but what he saw shocked him.

The closer he got, the easier it was to tell that someone was with Vic.

Making out with him.

And Kellin, well Kellin wants to go over there a push whoever it is and kiss Vic until everything's better.

But.

He doesn't.

Instead, he lowers his head and walks to the parking lot but if he were to turn around, he would've seen Vic staring at him while he got a hickey.

He probably would've guessed that Vic wants it to be Kellin giving him the hickey and not Danielle.
