When Vic asked Kellin to be friends, Kellin thought that he'd go back to ignoring him or very very rarely say hi to him when they saw each other.
And Kellin would've been fine with that.
He would've been happy if Vic never talked to him again.
But, when you assume things, you only make yourself look like a fool if you're wrong.
And oh boy, was Kellin wrong.
When he showed up to school again, he continued to ignore the people that stared at him, living his life as he did before this whole thing started.
What he didn't expect though, was for Vic to come into school and happily go to his locker.
Kellin glanced at him and went back to looking for his math homework that was sure to be there somewhere.
"Kellin, don't be rude say hi." Vic said as he walked around Kellin to the other side where he could see him.
"Why are you talking to me?"
"Because were friends?"
"When I thought you said friends, I thought you meant we'd go back to ignoring each other."
"I don't ignore my friends."
"Well I do so bye." Kellin walked away but Vic didn't get the hint and followed silently behind him. When they made it to Kellin's classroom, that's when Kellin turned around, making Vic bump into him. "Vic, you didn't need to follow me."
"I know but it was fun. I didn't have to talk."
"Thanks I guess. Well I have to go in. Bye."
Kellin hurriedly walked into his classroom and Vic walked off to his.
Vic was hopeful of this new found friendship.
