(Y/n)'s POV
I can't believe Jyugo kissed me! Technically, it was CPR, buuuut it still counts as a kiss. I've been writing back and forth to my only friend that will still talk to me despite the fact that I'm a criminal now. I write to her about how I've fallen in love with a guy a hardly know. I can't wait to tell her about how Jyugo saved me from burning to a crisp, and then performing CPR on me when I breathed in to much of the residue from the fire. As of right now, I'm in the doctors office to make sure I'm breathing correctly. Shiro is in here too.
"Shiro, you owe me extra food at dinner since I performed CPR on you," Rock stated.
Shiro grunted and nodded yes.
"How are you feeling (y/n)?" Uno asked me.
"I'm feeling a bit weak, but I'm fine. I-if it wasn't for Jyugo I wouldn't be here." I said.
Too bad Jyugo isn't in the room, I wish he was here so I could thank him again.
"You like Jyugo, don't ya (y/n)?" Uno asked.
"D-don't jump to silly conclusions Uno!" I said embarrassed.
"I'm not, it's just that it's pretty obvious that you like him~" he argued.
"H-how so?!"
"Well for one, you stutter every time you talk to him or whenever he's mentioned." Uno elaborated.
"You're more perceptive than I thought," I grumbled.
"So am I right, or am I right?"
"Yeah, yeah you're right. I do like him, but please don't tell him that I do. I want to be the one to tell him."
"I won't! And speak of the devil look who just came in the room to visit you!" Uno exclaimed as he pushed Jyugo in front of me.
"Uno out!" He said as he exited the room leaving just me and Jyugo.
"What a lame pun," Jyugo mumbled under his breath.
"Jyugo...thanks again for saving me." I said in a nervous voice.
"No problem, how are you feeling?" he asked looking down at the floor.
"I'm good...t-thanks to you."
He must like me back since he can't look me in the eyes! Alright, I feel confident! I'll confess to him now!
"Jyugo. I know we haven't known each other for long, but I like you...a lot...like more than on a friend level." I confessed.
There was a moment of silence before he responded.
"I'm sorry (y/n), I-i can't accept or return those feelings." He said as he left the room.
W-why, I was certain he felt the same way. The past few days he's had trouble talking to me which I assumed was from the first time we broke out together. So why Jyugo? At least give me a reason.

Jyugo's POV
I can't accept her feelings. I know she's just saying this because she wants to repay me for rescuing me. She wouldn't actually like a monster like me. And besides the only thing I'm good at is unlocking things.
"Jyugo, wait!" (Y/n) called as she opened the door. "Why? Just give me a reason!" She begged.
I continued walking, and ignoring her.
"Jyugo, why?!" She caught up to me and pleaded.
"Because you don't know me." I stated.
"But I can get to know you," she replied.
"You can't, when I don't even know who I am myself!" I retorted.
My eyes started turning red.
"I can help you discover who you are! Please Jyugo...j-just give me a chance!" (Y/n) cried.
"I don't want to hurt you, ok (y/n)?! There's my reason so leave me alone!" I exclaimed and ran off before I lost control of myself.
(Y/n), maybe some day we can be together, but it's very unlikely. I realize now that the feeling I was feeling was love; something I've rarely experienced. Once I find the man with the scar and get these shackles removed, I can return your feelings; I promise.

(Y/n)'s POV
I have to find out more about Jyugo's past. There's something he's hiding from me. He says he doesn't want to hurt me, so there's something he's trying to protect me from, I just wish he'd tell me what it is. I don't think he dislikes me though, so I'm not going to let what he said bother me, I just need to learn more about him. Hmm, Uno seems like he's the closest to Jyugo, so I'll ask him when I get a chance to talk to him alone.
