Chapter 4 Misunderstandings

(Y/n)'s POV

Jyugo approached me. Embarrassed, I threw a pillow at him and told him to stay away. God, he's so hot. I'll admit to myself that I have a crush on him, and after last night I'm so embarrassed to talk to him. Even so, I still want to find out more about him...especially when his hands turn into swords, that's so cool! Well at least it looked like his hands turned into swords, he probably was just hiding them in his clothes.

I've noticed though it seems like Jyugo's avoiding me. Why is that once I start to open up to him he starts? And the other three have been acting strange. It looks like they're trying to instigate something between Jyugo and I. Could it be that I'm too obvious and they've figured out that I like him?! No, they're not that smart.

"Hey, (Y/n)."

"Ahh!" I was startled. "What do you want Uno?"

"Heh, you looked like you were deep in thought. I just came over here to ask you if you want to play cards with us." He said.

"Sure, I'll play." I said as I got up.

"Jyugo-kun, are you gonna play too?" Uno asked.

Jyugo looked up and saw that I was playing too. "No, I think I'll pass."

What did I do?! Did I do anything wrong?

"Oh well, let's get started then!" Uno said.

Jyugo's POV

I looked over at (y/n) playing cards. I want to join everyone, but I can't. She thinks I'm a monster, and I am one. And what was that feeling I felt last night when I was with (y/n). I don't know what it is, maybe it's something I only feel with girls since I haven't seen one in awhile aside from the warden and nurse Kazari. Even so I've never felt this feeling with them, so what is it?

Suddenly an alarm went off, and the warden's voice boomed over the intercom.

"Attention all inmates, evacuate your cells in an orderly manner with your assigned prison guard. This is not a drill! The kitchen has set on fire and it is spreading rapidly throughout building 13. I repeat this is not a drill!"

"Shiro, nooo!" Rock cried.

"Calm down, I'm sure Shiro was able to evacuate," I said to Rock.

"I have to see for myself!" Rock said as he ran out the cell.

"Number 69, wait! Get back here!" Hajime yelled. He sighed before turning to us," Numbers 11,15, 25, and 51 let's go."

"What about Rock?" Nico asked.

"We don't have time to go chasing after him," Hajime responded.

"I can't let my friend die, I'm going to the kitchen!" Uno replied as he sprinted to the kitchen.

"We're going too," Nico and I declared at the same time as we started running.

"Hey! Don't leave me here with Hajimemashita!" (Y/n) yelled as she followed us.

"Haha! Nice pun!" Uno and Nico commented.

"HEY, WHAT'S WITH THAT NAME?! YOU FOUR GET BACK HERE!" Hajime yelled at the top of his lungs.

We reached the kitchen to see a collapsed Shiro and Rock by his side.

"Guys help me carry him!" Rock cried.
