Some Things Have Changed...Atleast In Me

          I opened my eyes. Saw Alarm clock it was 7 a.m. College timing was 11 so there is pretty much time in my hand, I thought.

Suddenly I remembered about the text that I sent to Meera yesterday. I was excited about what her reply would be. I looked for my mobile but couldn't find it near my bed. Hurriedly I threw my blanket out of my bed and lo, there was my cell under my pillow.

I checked it in hurry it was showing '1 unread text'. In excitement I pushed 'Read' button when I heard that patented music of Samsung Mobiles. Damn my phone had switched of due to battery draining.

"Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!! Shit!!" I said loudly.

"Good Morning to you too. Mr. Intelligent." Said Battery.

" What good morning. I just opened phone to check whether Meera has replied. There was one message but the phone is dead and I am not able to find a charger. wait wait a minute what did you just call me??" I replied.

"Mr. Intelligent. That's your new name isn't it?", Battery

" How do you know??" Before he could reply I said, "Well leave it. Have you taken my charger?"

"Nope, but I can see it hanging there." Battery said with little mischievous smile on his face and pointing towards a plug.

"Oh. Thanks Battery."

I plugged in the charger in my mobile's socket, switched on rapidly and pressed "READ" button on it. As expected it was a message from Meera.

' It's so nice of you, Ashok. It's like you read my mind. I was feeling much low because everything is new for me here at V.K.M.G. but you comforted me a lot. Now I am feeling loads better. Thank you Thank You Thank you very much!! You are so adorable. Meet you in college. Thank you once again.'

I kept the phone down. Got ready and went down for breakfast at canteen. I was sitting in the corner having my breakfast when I saw Meera in the queue. We smiled at each other.
After 5 minutes or so she came towards me and said in a sad voice " First batch is over now they are making the second one. It will take more 10 minutes."

"Oh. We can share if you want" I said, gesturing to the plate.

" You are so sweet Ashok.", she said sitting in front of me.

We finished our breakfast.
Meera said, " Thank you so much Ashok. For yesterday's message and today's Breakfast. You are so sweet."

" You are most welcome, Meera. No need of thanks. I will help you anytime."

" Thanks, Ashok."

" Enough of Thanks Meera. Let's head towards lecture."

" Yup."
