I'm pushed into the bright florescent lights of a hospital by the female voice. The voice is the same one who was explaining in a car that she was driving me to the same hospital that my sister is going too. I'm handed from person to person several times all saying the same thing: "she's in deep shock". Well, that's what my brain has assumed. The people have been speaking gibberish and always had "shocked" in their sentence as I had been passed. I'm guided through a door way and sat onto a plastic covered couch. A women dressed in white checks me over, examines me for injury, and passes me to another older black women. She tells me to go change into a cotton gown and remove all clothing except me under wear. I'm slightly disturbed by this but I do it because then I'll get to see Lizzy sooner. The black women gives me several ex-rays and I'm passed once more. This doctor checks me for lice or ticks and makes me pee in a cup. I change and then a hand presses at my back to lead me to Lizzy. I hope Lizzy. I've done everything they've told me so I better be in Lizzy's room when I go through this important-looking door. Wrong, I'm in yet another office. This one is lavender with white accents and white and cream furnishings. A voice comes from behind a tall chair. I take notice this room is quite quiet compared to the rest of the busy hospital. The chair turns to reveal a women. She wears cream open-toed flats, white slacks, a lavender sweater that drapes over her shoulders, and a brunet bun with a pencil through it. She has hoop earring, black oval frames glasses, and a pearl necklace. She is pretty but, she matching her room's color...? She smiles at me and introduced her self as Mrs. Childress. She tells me that she'll be my counselor. I don't give a damn who this women is and I'm not going to tell her shit.
