Chapter 12

~~Eriks Pov~~

When we finally woke up, it was hot. Really hot. Everything to me was still a blur in my eyes. But I could still make out everything in the area. There was lava everywhere. The floor and walls were all reddish. Giant ghosts were flying around. Crying. Then I saw them. Tall, pink, and with a golden sword. They were kinda like mutated pigs or something. What is going on here? I slowly turned my head over to Dakota. She was still asleep. It was the same with Brandon when I looked over at him. As I looked back at the beasts, one of their faces was in front of mine. I wanted to scream but I couldn't. Then they just pick me up. They did the same with Brandon and Dakota. Where were they taking us? Where ever it is, I don't want to find out.

"HYA!"

I had sliced the one that was carrying me's head off. I fell but the rest put down Dakota and Brandon and grabbed out their golden swords. Looks like this was about to get messy.

As the first one charged I knocked him on the head with my shoulder and stabbed it in the back. Two more came at me and took a minute for each one.

Finally, the last three did something I would never forget. They each morphed together and made one giant beast!

"Oh gross!"

This beast didn't have a a sword. No, instead it had a big chained golden mace. I cursed under my breath. As I charged at it it swung me flying across the the land. I was hanging of a ledge above an endless pit of lava. I looked down at the lava to see if there were any ledges. But instead I saw something else. I looked up at the giant beast walking towards me. Walking pass my diamond sword. I looked at it's face and just grinned. I let go of the ledge. Falling towards the molten lava.

~~Dakota's Pov~~

Erik had been fighting with the zombie pigman for a while now. But then as the last ones formed into a giant ugly beast, I could hear Erik gagging and saying how gross it was. Then the worst happened. The giant pigman knocked over Erik making him hang on the side of a cliff. I gasped and covered my mouth. I could feel a tear form in my eye. Wait, was I upset, upset over Erik? Did I- no, we're just friends. I could feel myself blush. But then the most horrifying thing ever happened. Erik just smiled at the pigman, and let go! I was devastated when he fell. I practically screamed my lungs out yelling his name!

"ERIIIIIIIK!"

Tears were now pouring down my cheeks. I just sat there on my knees, sobbing and crying. I did, I did like him. I loved Erik. He was an awesome friend especially when we met. And now he's gone.

But to my surprise, a ghast flew up, with Erik riding it. I was so happy to see he was ok! He tapped the ghast's head and shot the pigman with a fireball. Erik jumped down and grabbed his sword off the ground. He stood on top of the monster and stabbed it straight in the head. Im guessing he saw me watching because he was heading my way. He didn't say a word. All he did was kneel down and hug me. I blushed even more. He let go and then sat there.

~~Eriks Pov~~

I let go of Dakota and stared at her. She looked really pretty in the light. She backed up and just slapped me right across my face. I froze for a second. I looked down at her with my red face.

"OW! What was that for?!"

"Don't ever do that again!"

Then she shot up and grabbed me into a tight hug. I could feel one of her tears roll down onto my shoulder. She whispered in my ear, "ever." I whispered back to her, "I promise." And hugged her back.
