It all started as a dream. My dream to make every aspiring writers’ dream come true—to be published. I was once in your shoes, too, a person who just keeps on writing and dreaming to be published one day. That dream of mine did come true year 2012, when my short story, She Still Loves Her, won the grand prize award in a writing contest for the book, Heartbreakers: Special Edition, which was then published nationwide the following year. Then, last 2015, by the trust and belief that PSICOM Publishing Inc. has continuously given me, hence, my solo book, Anong Klaseng Estudyante Ka?, was made available all over the Philipines. Now, I want to share that same feat with you, I want to make your dreams come true, to celebrate the joy of writing!

As a writer and a published author, my mission has always been to inspire everyone, to let you know that if you have a dream, nothing is impossible. So, I founded Jahric Lago Presents (JLP), a self-funded, self-publishing project that gives an opportunity to writers in getting their works out there, to their readers, to the world. And now, here is our first project titled Dreamlovers, a slowly crafted piece of work that is created to amaze you up to its finishing tale. A simple dream before that has now turned into a reality and you now hold in your hands.

Itong librong hawak mo ang magpapatunay na may forever basta maniwala ka lang. Sabi ko nga, to believe is to see. Kailangan lang nating maniwala sa pag-ibig at ibibigay nito ang hinihiling nating forever.

Sobrang proud ko sa librong ito. Dahil talaga nga namang napakaganda ng mga kuwentong nakapaloob dito. Magaling ang pagkakasulat, maganda ang mga kuwento, nakakakilig, nakakaasar, nakakainis at talagang makaka-relate ka. Mapa-bata, mapa-matanda, bitter ka man sa love, o hopeless romantic, dahil sa Dreamlovers, may kuwento para sa lahat, may kuwento dito para sa ‘yo.

Kaya nagta-thank you ako kay Lord kasi hindi talaga ako nahirapang mag-edit because He provided me with amazing writers para dito sa Dreamlovers. Also, thank you Lord for giving me this power and responsibility to inspire people in achieving their dreams. Para akong isang superhero na sa bawat natutulungan kong writer ay isang “mission accomplished”, isang misyong hinding hindi kong titigilang gawin. Isa sa pinakamasayang achievement ng kahit sinong writer ay ang makatulong at makapag-share ng nalalaman niya tungkol sa pagsusulat. Kaya masaya akong maging parte ng growth ng bawat writer na natulungan ko.
Aside from the guidance by the Lord, marami pang mga taong nagsama-sama para mabuo ang librong ito. And let me take this opportunity to send my gratitude and appreciation:

Yey! Pioneers! Haha! Thank you for entrusting me with your stories, it was and it will always be a pleasure working with all of you. I may be a blessing for most of you, but you are much more of a blessing to me. Because knowing that I am able to help aspiring writers get their lifelong dream, fills my heart with joy and delight. Finally, to all my fams at sa lahat ng readers ng mga writers na nasa librong ito, salamat sa inyong lahat. Kasi kung hindi dahil sa inspirasyon, suporta at pagmamahal niyo sa amin, walang Jahric Lago Presents: Dreamlovers. And as Dora the Explorer always say, we couldn’t have done it without you, thanks for helping. Haha! But really, behind every great writer is a supportive reader. Kung wala kayo, wala kami. Kaya maraming, maraming salamat! Mabuhay kayo!
