Imagine: Being Bruce Wayne's daughter.

(You're a child in this. Kinda like a new born.)

Harley watched from the distance with envious eyes. Her heart beating to have what every one else could have. She could never have one. She could never have a child of her own.

Joker wouldn't allow it. Batman wouldn't allow it. Heck, Gotham wouldn't even allow it. Harley knew she couldn't have a child but it never stopped her mind from having thoughts here and there. It never stopped her heart from breaking at the known fact she would never have a child or her own.

Harley ran as quickly as possible from the cops. She was running from the world. The police sirens seemed so close but she refused to look back.

For the first time, she was scared. She was scared of being caught by the police. She scared of being caught by Batman. She was scared of going back to Arkham. She no longer wanted to go back.

She wanted to stay with her Joker and her two babies, Bud and Lou and her new baby.

The deadly sin of envy had consumed Harley. She could no longer think straight (not like she ever could).

Harley let her actions do the talking and that was a mistake. Her actions caused her to steal a baby from a home, from a family.

Harley felt guilt but also felt happiness at just the feeling of the baby in her arms.

Tears threatening to slip as Bruce destroyed everything in sight. His room was a mess. Pictures broken, glass bottles broken, bed sheets ripped, etc.

Bruce was angry but didn't know how to let it out. He destroyed things but the anger never left. He tried taking deep breaths and trying to keep a cool mind like Batman did, but it didn't work. All the anger would resurface

His baby was taken from him. His baby that was resting peacefully in the room was stolen. He left for only a minute and when he walked back in he saw a figure jumping out the window with his tiny baby in their arms.

He was the one given the trust of taking care of the baby as the child's mother died in a horrible fire. He was the one the mother begged to take the child and save. He had listen and before he could go back to save the mother the building collapsed.

He promised to care for the child as his own. He promised the mother he would love the child and care for it deeply. He swore to protect it from the world of evil and never let anything horrible happen to the baby.
He broke that promise. He let the crook run off with the baby. He tried to go after them but Alfred was quick to stop him. He knew Bruce wasn't in his right mind and was going to hurt someone.

So, Alfred called the police and went off to search for the baby along with the police. He also called Nightwing and Red Hood to help with the hunt.

Bruce could hope that they could successful find his child and bring it back safely.

He would join the search himself when he knew for a fact he wouldn't hurt someone to the point of death.

What Bruce didn't know it was the last time he would ever see his child.

Joker walked into the secret warehouse with annoyance. The police were everywhere and because of this he couldn't rob the bank he planned to rob.

"Harley!" Joker yelled. His voice echoed throughout the semi empty warehouse.

The sound of giggling caught Joker's attention. He thought nothing of it and followed the giggling. Where ever the hyenas were hiding was always to be Harley.

He walked into the bedroom he shared with Harley to see the hyenas laying on the bed. Joker growled in more annoyance and glared at the two animals Harley treated as pets.

"Get down you stupid things." Joker ordered while walking closer.

The hyenas tensed up and their giggling increased. Teeth showing as Joker walked closer and glared at them. Joker stopped for a moment and even stopped glaring.

Joker knew the hyenas weren't very fond of him but he never expected this. He never expected them to be ready to attack him. Joker ignored this and continued towards the bed.

The hyenas quickly stood up and blocked whatever they had on the bed. Joker noticed something small moving around in the covers.

"Harley!" Joker yelled once again. He knew she did something she wasn't suppose to do.

Then, he heard crying. Not the cry Harley let out whenever she was sad but the kind of crying of a child. A child?

Joker quickly pushed the hyenas off the bed and looked at the thing laying on the bed while crying its eyes out. Joker only continued to stare. The baby seemed to notice and looked at Joker with tear still falling.

"What are you?" Joker mumbled to it.

The baby, however, was still crying but looking at Joker. Footsteps came running up the stairs and towards the bed room.

"Puddin'! Grab the baby!" Harley yelled.

For some reason, Joker was frightened at her yelling and quickly picked up the baby. Joker then realized the situation and held the baby out for Harley to take.

The baby had stopped crying. As Harley took the baby she could feel Joker glaring at her. Harley kept her eyes locked into the tiny baby in her arms.

"Harley what is a baby doing here?" Joker asked with slight anger.

Harley smiled nervously and and laughed very slightly. She acted on the heat of the moment. She wanted a child so much she went as far as to steal one but when she realized what she had done, she no longer wanted to return the child to their home.

"Well, you see..." Harley started and looked at Joker.

She explained everything. She explained how she wanted a baby so much and let her actions do the 'talking'. Joker actually listened. Not once did he interrupt her story. When she was done telling it, there was complete silence.

Harley was waiting for him to yell at her and tell her to return the baby but nothing has happening. Joker remained seated on the bed while looking at the floor. The hyenas had fallen asleep when they saw Harley enter the room.

"Puddin'?" Harley questioned. The baby had fallen asleep in her arms due to Harley rocked back and forth on her heels while telling her story.

"We can keep the baby." Joker mumbled under his breath.

Harley was quick to catch those words and a beautiful smile broke out. She looked down at the sleeping baby and kissed its forehead.

"Welcome to the family sweet heart."
