In some ways living with Gerard came a little too easy but considering that they'd practically lived together during their short relationship. They spent most of their time tiptoeing around each other to avoid saying the wrong thing. Barcelona had won their match against Malaga that Saturday. Gerard had scored a cracker of a goal but the surprise had come when he celebrated the goal by sucking his thumb, a clear dedication to their son. That celebration had warmed Sierra's heart and brought back the feelings she had kept hidden because she knew that things were bound to go left with Gerard.

A few days later Gerard proved her right. She had slept later than usual and found Gerard eating breakfast.
"Where's Milan?" She asked looking around the kitchen.
"I gave him a bottle and put him to back to sleep but he'll probably be up very soon" he replied.
She couldn't help the smile that graced her face at the thought of Gerard putting Milan to sleep.

"What?" He demanded

"Oh nothing" she protested. On que her stomach growled.
He pulled out a chair for her right next to him "Sit and eat we need to fatten you up"
Reluctantly she slid into her chair as he placed a plate of eggs and toast in front of her. To her irritation Gerard sat back down again. He seemed to always be in her space not allowing her room to breathe, she knew she needed her own space.
"If the doctor clears me after my next check up I should be able to move back to my place" she told him.

His grunt sounded like protest which confused her.
"Would you rather I leave sooner?"
"No. I want Milan here all the time, so you have to stay here too" he grunted
Her stomach dropped at his words.
"No" she simply stated before going back to her breakfast.
"Why not?" He challenged
"I need to be in my own space, I feel suffocated always being around you" she murmured.
"Our chemistry is not suffocating Lia, once you accept it you'll see it can be very pleasurable" he smirked.
"Get over yourself Gerard, I'm moving back to my home end of discussion"
"You can go, but my son stays here"

And just like that the peace they had ended just as she had expected.
"We have an agreement Gerard, don't be ridiculous"
"Call your lawyer then Lia, because Milan isn't leaving" He looked her dead in the face as he said it as if to challenge her.
"Of course you would do this. One minute you act like you care about me and the next you're threatening me with Milan!" She shouted "Fine Gerard let's go to court, make me pay more legal fees I can't afford but I will fight for my son. I have to because I don't want him learning from you that it's okay to treat people the way you do" with that she stalked out of the kitchen.
After a few minutes of calming down Gerard went to find Sierra. He found her sitting on the pool chairs outside.
"Look, I was wrong to say I'd go back on our settlement. We agreed and our lawyers agreed too, I'm also sorry for using Milan as a way to make you stay" he whispered.
"Am I going deaf or did you just apologize?"
"Yes I did" he murmured
"This has to stop Gerard, I get that you're still upset but how long will you keep punishing me for my mistake?" She whispered
"How about you tell me why you stole from me first?" He asked meeting her gaze.
