True to his words Gerard called his lawyer who in turn called Adrianna and the two met to plot a suitable settlement for both parties.

Gerard was now standing in her apartment with the settlement ready for Sierra to sign. The mood was still rather tense between them. Suddenly Gerard interrupted the quiet around them.
"Did you ever think about a termination at all?" He asked with sudden curiosity.
"Yes"
That one word struck him in the chest , utterly unexpected and so lethal his heart seemed to stop. Until his brain caught up.
Obviously she had decided the good outweighed the bad and decided to have the baby or they wouldn't be here today.

His brain seemed to be covered in a deep fog , he had to strain in order hear as she continued.

"I was only three weeks along when I found out. There seemed to be a lot of good reasons not to go through with the pregnancy" she looked more and more distressed as she continued.
"I couldn't bring myself to just remove it from it from my life just like that. I want this baby, Gerard" she turned to face him, her hand lay protectively on her stomach "I know it's probably stupid for me to show you how much I want this baby because you'll use it against me. But you have to believe me , I will never let anyone take my baby from me"

The hairs on the back of his neck stood up with warriness and awe. Sierra was showing her maternal instincts and she seemed like a fierce lioness when talking about her , no their little cub.

"You're trying to convince me I Can't buy you off?" He summed up trying not to let himself become too lost in her , since she had fooled him once.

"You can't, the only thing I agreed to this is to give my child the advantage of having a father , and whatever other advantages its father can provide to its future siblings as well" she nodded at the contract.
Gerard was reeling at her admission however her suggestion of more kids had him on edge because even though he didn't want to admit it , he couldn't see himself having more kids with anyone else but Sierra.

Sierra walked over to the contract and skimmed it briefly before signing it. Adrianna had gone over it with her the previous day so she knew what to expect. She was glad things seemed to be working out because as per the contract they had she would be the one living with the baby and that made her so happy she wanted to cry.
