I can't eat through my mouth; I eat with my G-tube that goes into my stomach. My school's special education teacher kind of forced me into eating in a small room because they "don't want to make other people uncomfortable".
When I eat in the lunch room or the attendance office, the kids don't even seem to notice! I do feel secure in the attendance office, though, because the people in there so nice. There are some other kids that eat in the attendance office too. The kids are so nice and accepting! Same with the staff!
When I finished eating, I told my nurse that I had a song stuck in my head, and that I wanted to play it on my phone. My nurse said ok, so I turned on Same Drugs by Chance the Rapper. I had on a sweater with sleeves longer than my arms and I twirled twirling the sleeves around by moving my arms in circles. I started moving my hips.
Some the staff started dancing, too! Oh gosh, I love the people in the attendance office!
So...I guess that's one thing I really like about school. People in the attendance office are so easygoing. They even let me dance to a song! That's pretty awesome!
