Chanyeol walked home alone that day, kicking a rock like he usually did when he walked alone. However, halfway through his walk, he thought it would be a good idea to visit his mother, since she had been pestering him to do so.

Chanyeol usualy visited his parents home on the weekends and stayed there for Saturdays and Sundays because most of his producing equipment was there. That was deal between his mother and him. He could keep the apartment, but his producing stuff would be at his mother estate, forcing to him go to their house whenever he wanted to produce something.

Chanyeol stopped a taxi and had him drive him to one of the more decent neighborhoods of Seoul. His parents lived about 30 minutes away, and had surprisingly a house in the city, something not every one is privileged with. Once he got there, he rang the bell at the gate, and from the speaker he heard his mothers exclaim at seeing him.

"Chanyeol, why haven't you come by in forever!" His mother yelled as he sat down on the couch in the living room that he had spent a good half of his childhood. It was nice and luxurious, but he wouldn't trade it for his comfy and homey apartment. His mother, however, was opposed to him staying at the apartment.

" Ive been doing a project for school" Admitted Chanyeol, knowing that in reality, that was just the tip of iceberg.

"That's no reason to not visit your mother," She said, bringing out a mug of tea for herself and her son, " you should just move back in with us, your about to graduate in a month, there wont be a need for you to stay in that neighborhood"

Chanyeol looked down, remembering that creeping fact. It was true that they were going to graduate, and after that his apartment basically becomes useless for its original purpose: being close to Chanyeols old school. Chanyeol took a sip from the tea and sighed.

" I got a contract with an idol company" Chanyeol told his mother, watching her every expression. Chanyeol watched as his mothers frustrated tone turned into a joyful one, smiling ever so brightly.

" I knew it would happen soon enough!" Exclaimed his mother, the tears in her eyes prominent. She looked as if she would start crying right then and there, however she refrained herself and hugged her son.

"I'm so proud of you!" She told her son as she patted his back. Chanyeol stared down, while thinking if he should tell her the one sole factor that was different. As Chanyeols mom calmed herself and sat back down on the couch, Chanyeol braced himself to tell her the news.

"Theres a slight difference tho," He said, averting his eyes to the picture frames on the walls, still debating if he should say anything at all," the contract was an idol contract, not a producer one". Chanyeols eyes roamed his mothers for her approval, and sighed a gasp of relief once she started smiling and waving her hand.

"As long as you following your musical dream, I will always be rooting for you" His mom said with an encouraging tone. Chanyeol smiled back at his mother. Chanyeol was forever grateful he had an understanding mother. Not many were blessed, and he was forever grateful for a mother who allowed him to follow his dreams.
