Chanyeol found himself staring at the ceiling at 2:00 in the morning contemplating how he was going to talk to Baekhyun. He had woken up from the alarm and laid in his bed trying to wake up. He was not certain with anything. His head was wrapped around the subject, trying to organize his feelings.
Did he hate Baekhyun? That was the question he wanted answered. No doubt there had been a grudge Chanyeol held onto. The very memory of Baekhyun struck him with grief and anger in the four year absence of his heart breaker. He developed a grudge pretty quick, and swore for revenge. That was the driving force behind his success. However, Baekhyun couldn't have chosen a worse time to show up in his life. Four years was not enough to brew absolute animus in Chanyeol, it was, though, just enough to have Chanyeol running back. Chanyeol had found that his grudge had developed a sort of depression in him. He had everything in life he'd desired, he'd become who'd he had dreamed of becoming. Yet, he felt so miserable, waking up everyday and continuing his now mediocre life. It felt meaningless: he wanted to somehow create something to look forward too, and he knew the answer very well.
Nothing could compare to the time he found love. His life had felt complete, even when he didn't live the luxurious, privileged life he now had. He wanted to feel that again, he wanted to obsess over someone, love them unconditionally, engulf them with his undivided attention, he wanted to literally worship his lover. He was so desperate to do so, he completely negated his underlying motive. It was obvious he was suffering because of his loss, Baekhyun. He wanted to move on, he wanted to find another Baekhyun, but he failed to realize it wasn't possible.
It's almost as if Baekhyun could read his feelings, his thoughts, because he threw himself back into Chanyeols life at this certain point. In the perfect time, when Chanyeol was searching for another Baekhyun, in comes the Baekhyun he was trying to replace. His heart fell to its knees and submitted, suddenly his grudge was illusive. He rejected it, and soon found himself trying to find ways to make Baekhyuns his again.
Chanyeol completely ignored his prior aggressive feelings, the ones he had from the time that Baekhyun had been absent. He didn't notice it, until now however, when his mind was rerunning all the times he had yelled at Baekhyun for information. When he begged for Baekhyun to tell him anything, to explain what had gone wrong with their perfect bond. His aggression would win the best of him and he found himself yelling, begging, and pushing him away. He forced himself onto him because of his pent up sexual frustration, which was enough to frighten Chanyeol from even coming near him. He was terrified of his own actions, he couldn't even control his urges anymore. This problem, though, was serving a his big wake up call. If he could put aside even those underlying aggressive tendencies then he could talk to Baekhyun and fix what's broken. Chanyeol was on board with everything, except deep down he was angry at himself for submitting. Deep down he had wanted Baekhyun to pay for his sins. Thankfully, however, Chanyeol knew his happiness was the only thing that mattered to him at this point. His pride was a lesser meaning in this situation, his desire to hold Baekhyun at night passionately was of urgency. He could already feel Baekhyun coming back to him.

Chanyeol boarded the plane along side Kyungsoo, Baekhyun, and to his horror, Jongin. He sat down in his seat alongside Baekhyun, whose seat was one with a window. It was early and Baekhyun made it very clear he had no intentions of speaking. He had a blanket and slept as the others adjusted themselves and watched as the crew turned off the lights. It was about 4:00 am and the sun had yet to come out so most of the people on the flight were more then ready to go back to sleep. Chanyeols current dilemma was not Baekhyun speaking, it was how close they were . Baekhyun had lifted up the arm rest and their bodies were touching. Baekhyun had moved as far away from Chanyeol as possible, yet they still were in skin contact. Chanyeol would be lying if it didn't make him excited. The feeling of Baekhyuns warmth, however, was a lot more overwhelming and it drew in those sweet butterflies that fluttered in Chanyeols stomach. He loved the feeling of falling in love again, even if it meant the other person didn't love him back.
