Chapter 4: Questions.

~ Zero POV~

It wasn't easy to find food but I did, I eat two of the dead, what was hard is that there where more of them at night, walking around, I think some of them followed me here from the Mall, that's great, I should let the other know about this, I don't really care about them, but it's (y/n) that I'm worried about.

I walked back to the house but this time I made sure I'm not followed by the dead, I climbed back to the window that I jump out, I saw (y/n) still asleep. I grabbed my shirt and went to the bathroom next door, I got the blood off of me, but I still smell like them, I hope no one will ask about the smell, I went back to the room that (y/n) was in.

Still asleep, I smile to see that she was okay, I put on my shirt and lay down on the bed next to her, I move some of her hair out of her face to show her cute face of her's. I can't sleep, but I can watch, I can watch over her, that's not creepy, is it?.

The sun came out, I watch the sun coming up, the sky full of pink, Orange, yellow and red colors. I look up at what's left of the night sky, I heard a yawn, I look over to see (y/n) as she wakes up, she rubbed her face and eyes, her (c/e) eyes open to see me, I smile at her. The sun hits her sink, the bed head a mess, she just like so pretty.

~your POV~

I woke up to see Zero, the sun hit his sink, his purple hair, the cut on his cheek, wait, cut?. That wasn't there before, I quickly got out of bed and walk over to him "Are you okay, what happened, how did you get a cut on your cheek?" I asked him, he blushed as he felt my hands on his cheeks, his cold.

"why are you cold?!" I yelled a little loud but not too loud for a walker to hear me, I quickly got his hands and pulled him in the bed, putting a blanket around him to keep him warm, I look at him than his cut. It wasn't bleeding "what are you, you're cold, you do not blend, what happened to you?" I asked him, he just looked away from me.

I just look at him, "It's okay if you don't want to talk about, but I'm here for you" I said to him as I hug him to give him warm, he smiles as he hugs me back. Something didn't feel right, he doesn't have warmth, can't blend, what is he, is he bad or good?.

I let go of him, but he didn't let go, he just pulled me on to his lap as he put his head on my shoulder. I played with his hair, having him still close to me, felt like he was going to turn and bite me, he's truly not human, what should I tell the others, should I even bring him to our home, is Zero his real name or is it just a number?.

So many questions run through my head and it hurts, maybe a little more nap can fix it, I close my eyes letting sleep take over me.
