Mai laneson is one of the only shadow beast hunters left, on middle earth. She's found her self tracking some sort of demon that is different from the rest when your near it the air seems thin like you have to fight for every breath you take. She's followed it from the wilds to the out skirt's if the Shire where she lost it then headed back to where she first found it's trail running to an unexpected company.
