[Otabek's POV]
My heart flutters as Yuri swings open the door to his apartment; it's like the very first time he invited me in. I haven't felt truly at home here since before our fight, it really is nostalgic.
Yuri groans in annoyance.
I follow him inside and take a look at the sight. The couch had been stripped of cousins and covers, all that remains is the frame.
"I forgot Paula was going to take it to the dry cleaners." Yuri mutters.
"Who's Paula?" I question.
"Oh, she's my house maid." Yuri answers. "She only comes over every couple of days though, usually while I'm at training."
"A casual house cleaner..." My eyes slowly drift towards the kitchen.
No wonder Yuri hadn't mentioned anything of my cooking disaster, he doesn't clean this house himself. I'm sorry Paula...
Yuri sighs and kicks off his boots. "I guess there's no helping it, you'll have to sleep in my bed tonight."
I tug on my shirt collar nervously, suddenly feeling very hot. "W-What?"
Yuri turns to look at me. As soon as he sees my red face, he suddenly becomes a lot more flustered.
"Idiot, don't get embarrassed like that! There's nothing else we can do. Don't make it a big deal." Yuri says, his cheeks heating up.
I try my best to be cool. "Yeah...I mean I have to sleep somewhere, it's no big deal."
Yuri leads me to his room, it is the first time I have seen it. Shelves stacked with trophies line the walls, with a few photo frames here and there. In the middle of the room is a large bed with black blankets and a kitten plushie sitting on top.
"Ah, I, er—don't mind that! My grandpa gave it to me." Yuri stammers as he snatches away the stuffed cat.
"Of course." I say calmly, though I was about to burst with laughter.
"So...this is my room." Yuri says awkwardly.
"It's nice," I reply as I look around. "I guess I'll go get changed then."
"Yes." Yuri agrees, turning towards his wardrobe.

[Yuri's POV]
After Otabek leaves to change into his pyjamas, I immediately begin rummaging through my draws. The first thing I grab is my tiger onzie.
"I can't wear this!" I curse under my breath.
I quickly shove the onzie away to ensure Otabek wouldn't find it. Luckily, I have some backup comfy clothes to wear.
"This will do." I say to myself as I put together an outfit.
I'm wearing a black sweater that has a white cat nose and whiskers printed on it, along with leopard print boxers.
A soft knock comes from my bedroom door. "Am I okay to come in?" Otabek's voice asks from the other side.
"Yeah I'm done changing." I answer.
The door glides open and Otabek steps in wearing nothing but blue boxers. My gaze drifts from Otabek's eyes, down his toned body— to his broad chest, his masculine arms, his defined abs.
"W—Wha...y...you..." I stammer, my face growing hot.
Otabek suddenly starts laughing, not noticing my feeble attempt to talk. "What's with those little shorts? They are too cute!" He chuckles.
"Wha—? They aren't cute!" I snap.
"Leopard print, that is so you." Otabek continues to giggle.
"Leopard print is cool!" I say defensively.
My heartbeat quickens as Otabek approaches me.
"You look so adorable in this oversized sweater." Otabek tugs on my shirt playfully to show how loose it is.
For some reason, I feel flustered under his gaze. "S-Stop calling me cute!" I stutter angrily before smacking his hand away. "You're the one not wearing any clothes."
Otabek looks down at his boxers in confusion. "What's wrong with this? I used to always sleep in my boxers at home."
I try my best to avert my gaze from Otabek's rugged body, my cheeks burning from embarrassment. "Nothing! I just don't think you have the right to make fun of my fashion until you put some clothes on yourself." I lie.
What is wrong with that? Why does his appearance make me so uncomfortable? My heart is beating so fast it makes my chest hurt.
"Whatever, it's not like I care." I grab my kitten plushie and hurl it at Otabek. "Closet-pervert!"
The plushie hits Otabek square in the face. He grins evilly as he arms himself with a nearby pillow.
"Oh-ho, you are on shorty!" Otabek laughs, swinging the pillow at me.
I duck and weave around him, before snatching up my other pillow and whacking him in the back of the head.
"Too slow!" I laugh demonically.
Otabek spins around and hits me across the face with his pillow. I quickly recover and snatch the pillow out of his hands before retreating onto the bed.
"You'll have to climb onto something a lot higher than that if you want to be taller than me!" Otabek mocks.
"Fight me!" I roar.
I throw my arms back behind my head, jump off the bed, and slam the pillow down onto Otabek. We both laugh as we go toppling to the ground. It is only when I lift my head up and come face to face with Otabek that I realise I had landed on top of him. We slowly stop laughing as our eyes lock in an intense gaze. My heart thumps faster and faster the longer I look into his deep, brown eyes. Otabek begins to blush, and I suddenly realise that I have been staring at him. My face grows hot with embarrassment.
"Sorry!" I say quickly before scrambling to my feet.
"Uh, that's okay..." Otabek replies.
I pick up the pillows on the ground and throw them back on the bed. "I guess we should settle down now and go to bed."
Otabek sighs as he hauls himself off the ground and collapses onto the bed. "I agree, we had a big night and we've got training tomorrow so we best rest up."
I switch off the light and crawl into bed beside Otabek.
"Goodnight, Yuri." Otabek says softly.
"Night." I respond as I tuck myself under the blankets.
I lay awake staring at the ceiling some time after. For some reason I just couldn't calm my thoughts. Rest up, huh? My heart is racing. Something tells me I'm not going to get any rest at all.
