On my knees
Talking to Him who sees
All of the good and the worst of deeds
I've cleared my conscience
Now it's time to wake up
Nothing will ever change
Unless I change or make up
For the things that I have done wrong
So I'll ask for forgiveness
And I will make a change
I know He will take me in
He won't let me fall apart
All I have to do is accept and obey Him
All the way down to what I feel in my heart
I can't be in denial
I have to act now
And open my eyes
Because life's only for a while
We have to realize
An eternity is waiting
And so is the Lord, He is anticipating
Because we are His children and He is our Father
Don't you know our God's waiting for His sons and His daughters.
