Thoughts so busy
I lose sleep
Thoughts that put
my heart on repeat
Feeling the past
Like its today
Feeling the pain
Like it will never go away
Comparing the present
To what happened then
Confused by my thoughts
Hoping that they will end
Today is a new day
A new situation
Today I'm not used
But my head says just wait man

My heart says thats wrong
Because I am loved
I know where I belong
I know I am enough
where my thoughts don't consume me
Where it seems happiness pursues me
It's with his hand in my hand
Where I don't feel alone
With my arms wrapped around my man
Thats where I feel most at home
