I broke down in front of my love the other day
Something he said made me think of you
I apologized but he said it was okay
When I cried he wrapped his arms around me
He held me the whole time
He held me all the way
Till I could calm my mind
Till I could say I was okay
He wiped away my tears because
He's known that kind of pain
So whenever I cry
He's like the sunshine clearing the rain
I only cry for a little while
And just like the end of a storm
The traditional rainbow is like my smile
And his hugs are like sunshine, so warm
