Clara P.O.V
"Gabite, use Dragon Claw!" Iris yelled. Gabite came closer and closer, making the super effective move dangerously near.
"Block it," I calmly stated. Garchomp nodded and placed his arms in front, creating a blockade. Gabite hit Garchomp and caused smoke. From my side, I could see Iris smirking. This battle is going to be easy.
"Garchomp, use Dragon Claw and if Gabite's still standing, use Earthquake," I commanded. Garchomp was maliciously smirking once the smoke cleared. Gabite was staring in fear as it realized Dragon Claw did almost no damage to Garchomp. Garchomp's hands glowed purple, and he approached Gabite slowly, making his pre-evolution form scared.
"Gabite dodge it!" Iris yelled, but it was too late. Garchomp's Dragon Claw hit Gabite hard, and Iris's Pokémon fell to the ground with a loud thud.
"Garchomp is the winner, so that means this round goes to Clara!" he said. "Now trainers, release your next Pokémon!"
"Gabite, you were amazing. Thank you," Iris thanked her Pokémon before returning it to its PokéBall. "Axew," Axew came out of Iris's head, "lets win this!" Axew nodded and made its way to the battlefield.
"Garchomp, do you still want to battle?" I asked. I didn't even know why I asked, because the answer was obvious. He nodded and grunted, his eyes focusing on the small dragon type Pokémon. Axew gulped loudly and looked at Iris, so Iris sent him a thumbs up.
"Begin!" Kukui yelled.
"Axew, take advantage of your size and get on Garchomp!" Axew immediately took off and climbed Garchomp's body, holding tightly his shoulder. I could tell Garchomp was getting irritated since shaking wasn't working. I laughed at the sight, but then came back to reality.
"Garchomp, put Axew in your mouth," I said. Garchomp swiftly grabbed hold of Axew and put it in his mouth. Axew was strugging to escape since Garchomp kept a strong hold. Iris looked scared, afraid of what would happen next. Looks like I need to teach her how to calm down. She started panicking and shaking violently. Yup, I definitely need to teach her that.
"Garchomp," he looked at me. ~Draco Meteor~ I said telepathically. He started charging the most powerful dragon type move, but I could tell he was not putting his 100%. His mouth formed an orange sphere and he released, also letting go of Axew. Axew's cries could be heard before his body hit the ground, hard. When the dirt cleared, Axew was laying unconscious on the battlefield, with swirls as eyes.
"Axew is unable to battle, so that means Garchomp is the winner!" the Professor said. Iris ran to her Axew and picked it up, cooing it in her arms. She left it with Dawn and May, and she returned to the battlefield.
"This is the last and final round. Trainers, send out your last Pokémon!"
"I saved the best for last," Iris smirked. "Dragonite, come on out!" Her Dragonite came out and let out a fearsome cry.
"Garchomp, you want to continue?" Garchomp obviously said yes.
"Battle begin!"
"Dragonite, get high up in the air!" Iris commanded. Dragonite complied and flew up high. I smirked, "What makes you think Garchomp can't fly? Get up in the air too, Garchomp!"
This was going to be an aerial battle. Sweet.
"Dragonite, Ice Beam!" Dragonite started forming the icy move in his mouth, but we were one step ahead. Garchomp was already behind Dragonite with a powerful Dragon Claw prepared. Garchomp hit the jackpot, and that sent Dragonite to the ground. Garchomp landed in front of me, prepared for what's next.
