Clara P.O.V

Misty was already in place, clasping her PokéBall tightly. She had a look of uneasiness on her face, and she started shaking. Kukui had already told us to release our Pokémon, so when I released my Electivire, Misty raised her hands and said, "I'm not battling."

Everyone, including me, looked at her confusingly. I thought she was the one that wanted to battle me the most?

She began walking towards me with small steps and, before I could even blink, she threw her flawless body at me and hugged me tightly.

"I'm sorry," she muttered on my skin, her ragged breaths making it hard to hear her.

"For what?" I inquired.

"For what I did to you," she said as I felt some small drops of water touch my tan shoulders.

"What did you do?" I asked, trying to break the embrace, but Misty didn't let me. She just squeezed me even more.

"I hung out with Serena. We bullied you and I knew it was wrong, but I was a coward. I kept my mouth shut, and continued being one of Serena's minions. I'm so sorry," she apologised while sobbing.

I let out a chuckle and forced an end to our hug. I looked straight at her green pupils that were filled with tears and said, "You have nothing to be sorry about, Misty. Sure, Serena and the others are bitches, but that doesn't mean you are. In fact, you were the nicest out of all of them," I truthfully said.

Her eyes were full of gratitude as she smiled widely, but then her expression turned into nervousness. "Um," she began while creating circles with her right foot, "is it okay if I sit with you guys from now on?"

I didn't hesitate on saying, "Of course!"

I was aware everyone was staring at us, judging mentally. We didn't care though, so we walked over to where Dawn, Iris and May were sitting and smiling. Misty was cautious at first, but when she introduced herself, she opened up and talked freely of whatever she desired. I was grinning as I saw my friends accept Misty as if she were some lost relative, but my thoughts were interrupted by Dawn.

"Are you going to tell her your secret? You know, about being the Champion and stuff?" she inquired leaning in, elbows resting on her knees.

"I'm going to get to know her better. I don't feel comfortable telling her 'Oh, and by the way, I'm the Champion, otherwise known as the strongest trainer there is!' It'll be a bunch of information thrown at your face," I explained.

"Oh, okay," she sighed before turning her head to where Ash was sitting. "Hey, Ash is staring at you," she teased.

"Is not," I countered.

"Is too!"

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Ugh, fine," I finished our little argument by looking at Ash and, sure enough, he was staring at me. He wore a distant grin on his face as his eyes never left mine. Okay, I have to be honest. I felt my stomach flutter and my cheeks burn. Weird thing is, I never blush.

I broke our stare and turned to look at my friends, only to hear the bell ring. All of us stood up and went to our corresponding class.

Pokémon Evolutions wasn't as bad as other days. We just talked about theories and stuff like that, which is boring.

Finally, it was lunch time. I went to the place I always went to when it was lunch, the nurse's room. Glaceon walked besides me quietly, and I hummed all the way. When I reached my destination, I was surprised to see no patients waiting for me. I kindly asked Glaceon to help me look and see if they were hiding, but they weren't.
