Kiss Me

Chapter Two

"How come I've never heard of it I mean Hades son right here." I say gesturing to myself.

"Because dad didn't want anyone knowing about it. But recently it was stolen. I need you to find it before he or anyone else does."

"Why me?" I ask.

"Just like you said your Hades son. Your drawn to things of death." I shrug.

"Rachael will announce it tomorrow morning to Chiron. I don't know who can go with you but I do know specific people are to go with you." A wind rushes up voices I cant understand are in it.

"My time is up. I have to go." she says standing up.

"No. Bianca don't go. I need you. I cant loose you again."

She smiles softly and goes up to me saying, "I will always be with you. Protecting you and helping you in the worst of times."

"Please don't go." I say my voice cracking.

She slowly backs up, "Don't worry dear brother we will see each other again." then she disappears.

I stare at the spot she was in for a while. But finally I turn around and walk to my cabin.

A quest! I just finished defeating Gaea now I have to look for a crown! Gods why cant they just... just...ugh. I shadow travel back to my cabin.

I land at the edge of the forest near my cabin and walk the short distance there. Opening my cabin door I am met with a gloomy dark (and dusty) room.

Since I am the only one who is in here only one of the bunks is messy. I never do my bed so the blankets are how I left then from the morning. My bag full of clothes underneath it and my sword propped next to my bed, black and emitting dark energy. I sigh, home sweet home.

I drop myself in the bed and put a hand on my head. What a day! First I meet a guy who doesn't flinch back or avoid me and then my dead sister comes back to tell me I'm to go on a quest. Jeez what next my dad tells me he loves me, ha! Like that would ever happen.

With these thoughts on my mind I drift on to a sleep full of dreams.

"Son." I hear a booming voice say that I immediately recognize.

"What do you want dad? Here to complain about how you hate being down in the underworld while your brothers are having fun?" I say mocking him.

"I swear if this wasn't a dream..." he starts to say coming out of the shadows.

"You would what kill me? Your own son?" I say with a smirk.

He glares at me and says, "I am not here to argue with you. I am here to make a deal with you."

I look up at him in surprise when he says this. "What deal?" I ask my curiosity perking up.

"You are just like me. I know how much you like deals." he says with a smile.

I frown and say, "We are nothing alike. Now are you going to tell me the deal or not."

"Fine. I know your sister came to visit you and told you about the crown that was stolen from me." I nod staying quiet.

He continues, "I want you to know that as we speak I have people looking for it. I know that tomorrow your oracle will send you on a quest to find it." He pauses looking at me.

I shuffle on my feet and say, "Can you hurry up and get to the deal."

He looks at me and finally says, "If you find the crown then you can keep it. If I find it then too bad for you." he says.

This is a rare thing of my dad to one contact me and two to let me have something that is his. I consider the options in my head and then say, "What's the catch?"

"Cant you trust me for once."

"No actually I cant trust you. Nor will I ever." I say.

"No catch." he says crossing his arms.

"Fine I accept. But can I ask for a hint on where to look." putting my hands in my pocket.

"Tomorrow Rachel will tell you a clue." he says then disappears.

I stay and look around hoping that I wake up but don't. I turn around and yell, "Hello!" but get no response.

I hear a cough and turn around. The guy I met earlier, Will, is there. I raise my eyebrow in confusion. He comes up to me and puts his hands on my shoulders.

I notice that I don't flinch when he touches my shoulders and instead relax. He smiles but then frowns and starts yelling, "Nico! Nico! Wake up!"

"What are you talking about?!" I scream back at him trying to get out of his arms. But soon realize he has an iron grip on me.

"Nico! Wake up! Wake up!" he yells again.

I close my eyes.

"Nico!" I open my eyes and sit up grabbing the arms shaking me.

I grab them taking them away from me with wide eyes. When I look up I see the last person I expect to see, Will.

"Nico. Are you ok?" he asks looking at with worry and...sympathy.

Immediately I get up taking a few steps, my back towards him and say, "I'm fine. I don't need help."

He gets up and says, "You slept through breakfast and when I came by you yelled out something I couldn't understand."

"Well I'm fine now." I say turning to look at him.

He takes a step towards me saying, "Good. Also today Rachael said that you had to go on a quest. To look for a crown or something..." I interrupt him.

"Yeah I know and don't ask." I say when he opens his mouth. "Also someone is supposed to come with me. Who is it?" I ask thinking it's probably going to be Percy or Annabeth maybe even Jason.

Then he says, "Me."

Second chapter up and running. I like how this one turned out and its long-er. I will being putting a picture just cuz.
